Oh EA, big hugs for you. Can you go visit him over the weekend or is he not nearby?

And CFAC girl you get some hugs too. We had similar rows, well not over exactly the same thing but for the same reasons. Some men seem to take longer to adjust to the fact that they are now a dad and have responsibilities when baby is cross/tired/ill/cranky, not just when baby is happy and fun. It isn't like being an uncle where you can hand them back!

Ladybird, he is nearby but he works alot. And i dont want to turn up unnanounced either.

He said he would come and see me and Lily very soon.

Something funny, DH is feeding Lily carrot puree and he's complaining to me that she keeps wiping it in her eye :rotfl:

Edit: My bridesmaid bouquets on ebay are currently at more than i paid for then :j

EA I hope he does - a bit of grand-daughter time will do him the world of good by the sounds of it :) And carrots are meant to be good for your eyes ;)

Im going to make a card for him from Lily, with a pic of her holding a sign saying "Lily loves Grandad"

He absolutley adores her, she's his first grandchild. Alot of what i do with Lily is what i learnt from him when he was raising my brothers.

Sorry Krystal, those shoes are surgically attached to my feet and an amputation would ruin them.

Hugs EA, and to your dad.

Molly is eating a chopped up version of what we're having :j She normally gets her own roughly mashed food and the odd chunk of what we're having but this is a one pot three people meal and so far it is being greeted with loud and appreciative NOMNOMNOM noises.

Edit: Sami I've just got an email from Tesco. Would you like the code assuming it isn't too late?
Ah, shame on the shoes :p

Is it a grocery code? I did an epic shop earlier but I forgot a couple of things... Can you add a code if you have to check out again? I'm willing to try...

And I have just done the girls a chicken breast, just wrapped it in foil and cooked it... It's so moist and lovely... Can't believe I've never done it like that before... The only sounds you can hear are Caitlyn gagging cos she's shoved too much in lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Sounds a nice idea and hopefully your dad is only speaking from a worse case scenario point of view and whatever it is turns out to be okay.

    Likewise, how is David, hammy?

He is down to his last 20 or 30 fading spots now, so loads better thanks. He is still little Mr Grumblebum though but I think that the evil teething is to blame. We have had just 1 wake up for 2 nights in a row now. Woo Hoo :rotfl:

Just asked Chris if he would eat Gma's hotpot or does he want her to do him fish fingers and chips (his general default answer to "what do you want to eat?") He said he wants "Chicken dippers and vegetables but not too many, that would be bad" he's seriously not right in the head that child :p

Just had Grandpas home made sausages, potatoes from the garden and broccolli (can never spell that right) William had loads despite already having had 3 meals at nursery:eek:
Sorry can't remember much about what's gone on today as been keeping up during feeds, and just now waiting for this dress to finish on ebay so i could snipe it in the dying seconds :D I hope it fits ok and I can feed ok in it as planning on wearing it to the wedding in September. Now just need some shoes to go with it!

    Did you win it?

 Just picked J up from creche and got a letter saying they were increasing fees by £10 a day from 1st Sept and then by another £10 a day from April 11!

They are blaming the PCT and saying they won't subsidise the fees anymore but they will be getting a strongly worded letter as an increase from £30 to £50 for a sh1tty building that smells when its wet and other reasons I'm yet to think of is ridiculous.

So, a public sector pay freeze, my job on the line and now this :(

£1000 a month childcare will be OH's wages when he goes down to 4 days a week!

Need to play around with some figures :(
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
