I don't know whether it matters to you given your land sale (or whether it's too late) but it might be worth checking how long she'd need to stay to be entitled to Maternity Allowance. Maternity Allowance is almost the same as Statutory Maternity Pay but you don't have to have worked for as many weeks during the qualifying period as for SMP.
Well, the money isn't an issue anymore (I only pop back here for non money reasons) although if she was entitled...
She's at her workplace as I type handing in her resignation. She's been a while, so they may be trying to convince her to stay.
Thanks for the heads up though, as we'd not have known anything about it.Tigsteroonie wrote: »*runs in and screams

It's in the city centre (not saying yet who for), working on the underlying databases of the HR system. Full-time, permanent, swanky offices with - allegedly - a Starbucks on the 3rd floorNot brilliantly paid but WTC will help.

now my bad news....
someone tried to break-in last night and in doing so has totally knackered the patio doors so now they cant be opened at al. least the shoites who tried to get in didnt. but we are lookign probably at a complete new door and frame. its a big double sliding door as well. insurance should cover it but the excess is £100 so its highly unlikely that we will now be able to make the Birmingham meet.
have rang police and someone is meant to be calling around tonight. i know its not high priority but i hope they call tomorrow.
 Bunch of !"£$%^&*()
Hope they catch the )(*^&%$£"! and remove any chance they have of producing offspring.0 -
MOTM I'm just trying to imagine anyone coping with twin babies when they already have 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 year olds :eek:0

SJ - are you worried? He has plenty of time for growing, if he is happy, alert and sleeps/eats then what is the problem? You can only get a 'smallest' to 'biggest' scale if some babies are 'small' and some are 'big'
How far is he off weaning do you think? Is he sitting? Can he co-ordinate hand to mouth? Does he tongue thrust?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
I've almost typed up a draft of my complaint-in-writing? Would anyone like to read/edit it? I'm trying not to be ranty but it's hard when i'm close to exploding internally.
Whatever happens, continually badger them until you get anything resembling the outcome you desire. Go to every organisation that you think would have an interest and I would include going to your MP.0 -

Oh you're going back...I was just thinking, they are older than that....:rotfl:
Even tougher when you consider their mother gave up on them after they were born. The twins were what broke the camels back I think.
As with most things though, you get through.0 -
