havent a clue who installed the alarm as it was already here when we bought the house.

DH uncle does alarms, he fitted PIL alarm so will ask them how much it cost and take it from there.

    HELLO!!

We actually got back in the UK yesterday, but as I had 40+ pages to catch up on, I'm just now back to posting :D.

To much to reply individually too, really, but a huge congrats to MOTM and Lucy!!

3, if you need to explore the legal route, DH's best friend is a lawyer that deals with disabled (etc.) children in education so will know the right contacts for your situation.

We had a great time away. DH is now convinced he wants to move back to the States (he does this every time we visit but then usually I manage to change his mind within a few months :p). Finn was appropriately fawned on by everyone he came into contact with (cue "he's such a good baby!!" times 1 million). I think he will definitely be a little bored in the coming few days with only my mug to stare at rather than dozens of people doting on him!! He will definitely miss the Jumperoo. I wish we could afford one/had the space, as he LOVED it.

Need to send him off for a nap, but will likely post updates throughout the day as I play catch-up with tidying/unpacking/laundry/etc. :)

3 - I think the others have already covered how disgusting you have been treated and I agree totally with them. I dont know if it would be any use to you but my step sister runs a FB group for parents of autistic children as my nephew is autistic. I know she has sadly had issues in the past and taken them up with local newspapers. I can get you details of the group if your intrested.

Yes, that would be really useful thanks Som. Could you PM me or send a link through FB?

SS, SJ & everyone else, thank you all so much. :A
I'll take out my thinking for why then sent us home, and use SS's bit to make more of the healing which really, is the main cause of this and the bit making me most angry.

Also, it was my first draft - I hadn't spell/grammar checked yet. :o

Bruno Now you've confused me because I like your idea/letter & reasoning too! **confused smiley**

Aless Welcome home! That's really handy to know. Hopefully I won't need to, but I may be asking you for details in the future.

I also think Bruno has a good point too now! I'm such a sheep baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Welcome home Aless! Is your OH English? If so it's funny he should want to move but you want to stay!

Yup, he's English and has always been infatuated with America. He's even more determined this time, because we spent our time in Colorado and in/near the mountains, so I can't say that I blame him as is very easy to fall in love with the area (and if I were to move back, it would deffo be to there).

Forgot to say I got a horrible attack of a 24hr flu (or something!) bug with the worst timing...on our flight home!!! Thought I was going to hurl most of the time, it was awful dealing with that plus a baby plus flying overnight. DH was an absolute star and I feel mostly back to human today.

Am being a lazy !!!!! and avoiding the huge pile of things to be put away, figuring out what we need from the shop in order to not starve in the next few days, and doing yet more laundry.

Baaaaaaaa I also like Bruno's thinking.

3, I am still so angry when I think of how they've abused your trust and violated J's space. It is unthinkable to me that someone would get a vulnerable child on their own and then do something that frightens them, that they can't refuse, and then blame them for being upset about it and expressing their upset the only way they can.

I have to do a bunch of work. Don't wanna, especially as I'm considering moving in a direction where publications won't be as important, and this one is taking lots of time and effort that I CBA to spend

Welcome back Aless - sorry your flight was so uncomfortable but I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. We had four - four! - loads of laundry when we got back.

Totally agree with SS and others by the way if I haven't already said so - seriously shocking behaviour and I very much hope they get what's coming to them, starting with your getting a full refund but then going on to further steps.
Sorry if I muddied the letter-writing waters - feel free to just ignore me :) I won't mind. Can always follow up with a legal-type letter anyway if your first one doesn't get results.

Welcome back Aless! Sounds like a great time bar the sickness in transit, yucky :/
