3 it seems weird to me that you had to pay to someone's personal paypal account! I absolutely agree to keep the dispute going with them for the time being. Have you had any response from anyof the charities or media people you've contacted?

It was ladies name @ company name paypal account.

I have no intention of closing the dispute anyway.

3 - for the record I'm not getting bored of your updates. I'm cross on your behalf and impatient for them to pay up so you can go somewhere nice! Do you have anywhere else in mind, or are you trying not to spend the money in your head before you get it back?

I don't want to spend it in my head yet. Anywhere lovely and relaxing where we won't get barred. :p

We have £1200 to spend - suggestions welcome.

Well done Tigs.

and Well done MFD on getting an interview. :T

3 how far would you want to travel? We stayed in a lovely camping/caravan site in Gloucestershire, and that was WELL under £1200, with entertainment for the kids, two swimming pools, lakes, lots of wildlife, but that might be a bit far for you?

Okay, so I'll answer questions!

It's in the city centre (not saying yet who for), working on the underlying databases of the HR system. Full-time, permanent, swanky offices with - allegedly - a Starbucks on the 3rd floor ;) Not brilliantly paid but WTC will help.

How come you're not having a 12 week scan Susan?
I don't want to be having tests etc. which aren't necessary and I can't see any reason to have the twelve week scan. (I'm not saying there's no good reason for anyone to have the scan - I'm sure a lot of people like the reassurance.)

That sounds lovely Lady.
I don't mind distance, I drove a total of 14 hours at the weekend for nothing! :p

My only needs are that it isn't too busy - J doesn't like crowds/noise. The Haven we went to was great, but only because it was before the school holidays started so wasn't full of screaming kids. I'm sure if we went there now it'd be horrendous.

We stayed on a lovely site just outside Fort William. It was right at the foot of Ben Nevis and you can either hire static caravans or cottages.

It was very spacious with plenty of room for bairns to run around in and a small stream to play in. Caravans were really nice - more luxurious that Haven etc., and lots of nice little touches like a tea tray set out on arrival so all I had to do was switch the kettle on, and washing up stuff and tea towels left to use.

Long drive though, but beautiful scenery on the way.
Here I go again on my own....
