Tigs - huge congrats
Jillie - that's awful.
SM - I don't know the background story but if you have noone else to watch kids on that night then I would use and abuse her as a mutual babysitter. If you do then let someone else look after her and make plans for the night that you were meant to have her kids lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
3--never heard a thing. DH noticed when he got up this morning. strange this was that when i got up bout 5.30 to get a bottle for kian...it popped into my head as i was coming downstairs....imagine if we had been broken into and they were in the kitchen 'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

3 - Sorry hon, I am not ignoring you, am fuming that that sh1tty place treated you so badly and I really hope they refund you quickly so you can go on a nice holiday:) I haven't said much about it, but am reading your posts with interest and really hope they get the bad press they deserve.
(I have just said to L & J that it is bedtime and they have flaming well scarpered out to the back garden!!! Cheeky Beggars)
Thank you all for your kind words yesterday and to those of you who have sympathised with me re colic.... I may well PM one or two of you if I need some advice. Strange isn't it, baby 4 and I haven't a clue, because I have never had a baby with colic before:(
I managed to get T settled tonight 3hrs after her feed....1hr of that was spent walking down to the shop though, so she was fairly settled in the pram....but spent 2hrs when we got home crying/screaming/grunting/clawing and going rigid....she then had another thick green vile stinking poop. I managed to settle her by swaddling her and sitting in her dark room rocking her, I have put her to bed now although I am sure she will wake soon as she is due a feed anytime now.
Off to chase the boys to bed now and maybe get a cuppa in peace before she wakes......

Really wish I hadn't clicked on the link that Krystal has put up
I think I may have nightmares after seeing the picture of that poor little newborn with it's little froggy face. Infact (and I really don't mean this in a horrible way) it looks just like Thomas's favourite Mr Froggy rattle
Krystal - maybe it's just me being super-over-sensitive (which I'm not usually) but maybe you could put a warning by your linky for those that are easily upset.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Mel - have you tried infacol? It worked wonders for Thomas. He has been taking it since he was 2 weeks old and when we tried to stop it to move onto gripewater he got really bad again so is definitely working. It's going to be half price in the Sainsburys event from tomorrow.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

Glad your social worker was helpfull, my friend in a similar situation to you is having a nightmare with hers... ANd when she cried on the phone she was told to go and have a nice cup of tea... She does get respite 4 nights a month though which I think helps her sanity... But no playscheme through the summer...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
