    Afternoon all.

Lots of good news round here by the sounds of it. MOTM did you tell the girls yet?!

I have a right grump here. Very cross and saying "no" to everything I suggest she might want to do/eat/play with. Except beebies. So now she is happily watching big barn farm. I have a right telly addict here!

Quick question before I go see if I can tempt her with some food - has anyone seen tommee tippee napy wrapper refils on offer anywhere?

    babies r us 9.99 :p hth

sounds like you have fantastic plans and it will be great to have an extra pair of hands around in the early weeks! The girls will be an amazing help and you will probably have to ask if you can change/feed baby!! :D We are all here to help find all the bargain baby items and helps you with the latest 'gadgets' lol

I probably will need to make an appointment to see my own baby :rotfl: That may not be a bad thing as I didn't hold any of my girls unsupervised when they were babies. I have a dreadful fear of dropping them. I have to be sat on the sofa with the mother putting the baby in my arms and even then i'm scared. I'm also okay when they are in bouncers etc, but I really hate being left unattended with babies.
    That's really nice to hear.

And re. buying stuff, I bought loads of stuff early on, had the pram in the house before the baby, had a big stockpile of nappies and clothes etc and I wasn't bothered by the "rules". Each to their own I say, and if you fancy buying anything early then just do it!

Might go pop a cake in the oven now

Yeah, we'll probably buy bits as the girls really want too and I think Lucy wants to get started before she gets 'too fat' (her words not mine) but I also like the idea of getting the girls to save so they can buy something nearer the time as well. I suppose you never stop buying for your children though. I've already had my girls writing lists for me and they've known about 6 hours :rotfl:

    Mmmm Cake :rotfl:

Just popping on to say Toy Story 3 is the saddest film i have ever seen, Millie and I blubbed the whole way through it!

    Congratulations Lucy and MOTM.

Girls wanted to go and watch that....maybe not? or maybe ? :p

    Thanks for the congrats :)

MOTM you might want to suggest that Lucy gets her Christmas shopping done before she hits the tired phase - if she's due end of March it should be kicking in right in the run up to Christmas :)

I've been tidying the flat again. Still not great but it's getting there.

I don't think Lucy likes the thought of C Section. I just mentioned it to her to see her response. A firm but cheeky 'no thank you' followed :o

I'm worried as my girls are girls. What are they going to be like when they are ladies? Does it get worse? Lucy has a fair bit too. My bedroom over the last few months has turned from a manly room into a pink, heart filled perfumery :o

As long as everyone is happy, then it doesn't matter I suppose and the older girls hand down clothes when they've finished with them to the younger ones, so it's not as bad as it sounds. I suppose it's natural in a predominently female house and to be honest, any friends I have are all female too. Not sure what that says about me (steady) but i've been reassured I am manly and masculinity has not wavered. Phew!

Enjoy the coffee, can't help with pods etc as I don't drink the muck. I'm a teabag man.

Chat to you all soon. I'm off to collapse and be lazy on the sofa with my next babies mummy, at least for a few minutes until 'Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad' :o:rotfl:

Take care everyone and if people can try and get Fitzio to come back as she's a valuable poster and Glam and Fitz please kiss and make up.

Good point. I'll suggest it to her. The general Christmas things me and the girls can do. Anything to make it as easy for Lucy as possible without patronising her is useful, but she may want to start getting presents for the girls with me now. It's only me she has to hide things from and i'm not a difficult person to buy for as presents don't worry me too much and girls can help her there.

Tidying........oh the joys. Will never be perfect, so don't worry too much.

Anyone would think I'd been starving this baby with the way he's guzzling just now! I can hear the milk running into his belly  :rotfl:
