Evening all,
Got my carIt's a 54 plate Ford Fusion in black. Just that bit bigger and higher than the Fiesta, with 5drs and air con which I didn't have before
Don't know if anyone remembers but I mentioned an old lady at the end of our street was attacked by a burglar a few weeks ago. Today, the police were back at a house two doors away and everyone I saw in the street (mostly retired and tending to their gardens!) was worried it'd happened again to someone else. Turns out it was the 18yo lad from that house who attacked the old lady!! He's been arrested this morning and they were searching the house for the stolen jewellery
Hope everyone is having a good day x0 -
Gym - I can't believe how awful DH's family are. Does he actually want to go? You could just assume that you're invited and phone them up to check what time it is? Surely they'd have to make an equal fuss of the twins then??? Do they see much of Guy?
My best mate and her baby are still in hospital and will be there a few more daysNot sure what's wrong but when BM texted me wed am she said baby wasnt sucking. Her husband has got her a tv card so she can call me/chat online so will hopefully know more soon.
DH is away so on my own with T overnight for 1st time. He's being very whingyMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Hmm, good point Gill - Gym, might be good to see OH's family squirm if you were to just assume you're invited, afterall it's to celebrate 'their' birthday, and turn up! Or perhaps not. It doesn't really sound like their worth the uncomfortableness that would inevitably follow.
Gill, good luck for tonight!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Hi everyone,
Finished packing for today, just have my clothes, the bathroom and the food in the kitchen to pack now :j
Went to the dentist earlier and had to have a filling, had it at 2pm and my lip is still numb
Gym, hiya! OH's parents sound like total prrrks imo, i vote your dad meeting them! :rotfl:
And someone is taking our cat :j I was sooo worried that no one would have him. I would sneak him into the new house but the landlady wants to paint the front and back of the house at some point, which i imagine will be a long job. So i cant hide him for that long.
I will miss him loads though, especially since he has discovered he likes snuggling with me
When did your babies see a dentist?
I signed Lily up and they said that they wont see her until she's 2 years old, but my blue book says 6mo :S0 -
EA - Hurray for packing, and I'm pleased that you found someone for the cat. With Amelie, my dentist just said to bring her along with me for my check-up - she was about 6 months then.

Happy birthday Fitz!
FBB- how did the festival go? I hope it stayed dryish for you.
Hi GISI. The festival went really well thanks for asking :j:j:j. Toby was a really happy smiley little thing the whole time he was awake, he seemed to love the music and us dancing about with him. Newton Faulkner was excellent. When t got tired for bed we walked him round in the pram and he dropped off in about 15 mins, then took him back to our spot and he stayed asleep for the whole time!! really recommend the ear defenders too, maybe they helped him stay settled but they were good for my peace of mind too. weather stayed dry until after Toby was asleep which was perfect. so all in all a big success!! :T:T:T
Fitz, just catching up and I see u went for the elves book too, hehe good choice!! thanks again for the code. I see it's ur birthday too, so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! sorry it's a bit late in the day xx
Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Redstar I'd be tempted to move DD back down as I think I'd be worried about scaring her off too. If she enjoyed it before and is not liking it now cos it's too much for her I would have thought she might prefer it rather than it knocking her confidence. Might knock it more to be constantly being asked / expected to do things she can't do. Alternatively could you ask her?
Good luck tonight Gill but I'm sure you'll be fine. Hope your friend and baby are ok and home soon.
I am making this cake for friend's son's first birthday this weekend(well I';m going to try to!)
