A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

[QUOTE=boogellyboo;34770423Things are good here, Isla astounded me today by having a 2hr 35 min nap this afternoon :j I was lost for what to do, it felt strange without my shadow :rotfl:

I repeat... I am not jealous.... I am not jealous... I am not jealous
Oh heck, I lie I AM jealous :p

She's permanently sofa cruising at present and can't be left alone for two minutes.

Yay, go Isla :j. I know the feeling well, D has started chasing the cat wherever she goes so I reckon that stair climbing is next . D went step diving earlier when I forgot to close the door to the outhouse :o:eek:

Hope everyones well and babies are behaving :)[/QUOTE]

SJ - that cake looks fab, I bet you will do a great job of it:) Just out of interest, how long do the cakes last once they are made?

SJ, please say they only last about 10 minutes cos my hips haven't long recovered from D and I would like them to stay that way but I have no self control when it comes to cake :rotfl:

I had the weirdest visitor yesterday:o A mum who I have met only twice before (in 16mths) she messaged me on FB saying she would love to pop round, so I agreed...but god she was boring, I was clock watching until she went, and was trying to think of an excuse to get her to leave.......Only problem was I had already told her I was free all day until school pick up time:mad: I will definitely be avoiding her for a long time:p:o

I have made that mistake too :o I am a LOT more selective about friends now :rotfl:

    xx

my message is too short blah blah blah
The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents ;):o:D

Yes it was a complete nightmare....over 4hrs she was round too!! She barely listened to anything I said and just kept droning on and on and on and on, in her monotone voice! I sound like a right meany talking about her like this, but now i remember why I didn't really keep in touch haha

4 hours! I'd have been feigning an illness!

    Evening,

Boo 2 aka Boogelly - Nice to see you. How is Isla? Is she feeling better now? Yay for cruising furniture!!

It was your 'stranger' comment on fb that reminded me I hadn't been on for a while :) Isla's miles better thanks, it lasted a few days and she was out of sorts but the last few days she's fighting fit again. I think her gums were really bothering her as we had bad nappy rash at weekend too.

On that subject, DH has booked us into the hotel we got married in for the night on Monday and we are going to Jamie Oliver's new restaurant for dinner. It will be the first time we leave H overnight as she is going to MILs. I am looking forward to it as the hotel is amazing.

Very jealous of you going to Jamie Olivers restaurant, me and my SIL keep saying we fancy going to the one in Leeds and having a girly weekend away. How lovely of your OH to book your 'wedding' hotel too :)

Ooh, speaking of weddings. I bought my wedding dress yesterday :D

    EA those pics are lovely.

SS, is yours just a short flight or longer? Short ones are pretty easy, just bring toys and snacks. Long haul, do everything in your human power to get a bassinet. SELL YOUR SOUL FOR A BASSINET. It will make your life 1000000x easier - we didn't get one, can you tell? :( long story which I will tell eventually.

Other than that, pleading for a bulkhead row is also awesomely helpful and/or getting a free seat next to you.

7 1/2 hours  We're used to short flights, but long haul is likely to be a bit of a problem. I'm hoping she just falls asleep fairly early on.

What are these bassinets? Is a 22lb monster too big for them?

Sugar - Are you off to Bermuda tomorrow?? Are you all packed?

Your hotel stay sounds lovely Fitz, and please report back about the restaurant :)

We're off to London tomorrow evening to collect our connecting flight the next day. *I* am all packed. Molly is all packed (barring the last two items that are currently drying and her toys, which Husband will be packing). Husband, despite loud proclamations about how awesome he is and how there's no WAY he'll be throwing stuff into bags at the last second, is not packed. It's part of the pattern :o:rotfl:

My to-do list is now down to "stuff I can only do tomorrow", "stuff that I have delegated to Husband" and "stuff that is optional". I'm going to add "emptying the dryer" and "folding the clean laundry" to it, because once that is done I can pull out the last two things I need and pack them so Molly and I are ready to go.

ahhh, I just saw the Bermuda comment, SS. Then bassinet. Unless you want to be trapped under a sleeping baby for 2 hour blocks and if your baby is the sort that doesn't sleep in your arms (LIKE MINE) then your booby will become a human dummy for that 2 hour block.

The other baby on the plane was 11 months and fit in the bassinet (and he looked big for his age to me). Talk to your airline, most of them will have them on the plane but it's first come, first served. And get a bulkhead row - DEFINITELY. They should prioritise you because you're travelling with a baby.

Ermmmmm, other than that, there's not a huge amount you can do other than just go for the flow and trade off the 2 of you entertaining her.

Boogelly where have you been?!?? I demand to know why you haven't been on for so long!! hehe :p

Mel i can't stand boring people. I think i am one sometimes though haha.

I am meeting a (male) friend on Saturday he's coming to visit from London:j I heart him (as a friend!), he's scottish and will definitely give my neighbours the sharp end of his tongue if they do anything while he's here lol. Not sure what to do while he's here though, i feel like i should entertain him somehow but this town is snoozetastic.

Gill are you planning on starting with baby rice/baby cereals etc when you start weaning? I have some samples and coupons that i want rid of so would you use them?

Sami i posted your thingy at 5:32pm and have no idea if the postman had already picked up yet so it might not be there tomorrow!!

I should be reading the technobabble book because IT bloke will be on the phone anyday now to question me on it and i haven't even opened it yet... oops.
