As I have previously posted on FB following one of my MIL's 'visits' 4 hours is a tenancy not a visit.
Thanks  I am looking forward to meeting Millie too
And :rotfl: @ tenancy!
Did anyone watch the Extraordinary Breastfeeding show the other night? I'm just watching now, it says the average weaning age around the world is 4. Very interesting.0 -
Mel it's this book, I spotted it in the library when we were doing Bounce & Rhyme on Tuesday. I managed to read through it at breakneck speed so we're giving it a whirl. Her sleeping hadn't been too bad but then we had a week or so of her not wanting to go to bed at all and I need to break the feed to sleep association for her really. In the night once she's asleep she thinks boob is the only thing that helps her get back asleep if she wakes which is my fault for always just giving it I suppose but this has lots of gentle ideas for working through changing sleep plans.
We only moved her out of the crib yesterday to her big cot as well, she looks lost in it!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

I sniffed a sophie at baby class once, didn't smell good. But i dont know where it has been so didn't want it in my mouth.
Lily just stared at it in a state of shock :rotfl:0 -
Last time I went to the Dentist he tried to get her to show him her teeth, but she wasn't having any of it. I think at that age it is just to get them used to it iyswim. He said to bring her toothbrush next time, so she knows to open her mouth.
She does find it funny seeing someone else put their fingers in my mouth though - normally that is her jobIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Boogelly Thanks for the link, I think I will see if our library has that book as I really need to do something for in the nite wake ups too. T just gets sooooo upset if I don't feed him. I don't mind trying CC but I just know I am rubbish at giving in when he cries xxBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0

Gonna look through all our photos and see if I can come up with something nice. Really need to work out something to get him from me, I though a helicopter flight would be fun but I'm not sure it'd be all that picturesque over Leeds
Then I thought maybe 30 little presents...but could only think of like 2 things, so that plan was scuppered!
When I was 21 my boss bought me 21 scratch cards for my birthday...I won a fair bit (can't remember how much now)
When Hubby turned 40 I bought him 40 scratch cards and he didn't win a penny :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:ladybirdintheuk wrote: »Last time I went to the Dentist he tried to get her to show him her teeth, but she wasn't having any of it. The only way I can get my fingers in Benjamin's mouth is when he is wantonly (?) biting me!!
Not sure if I should post this or not but...
When I picked Benjamin up today the CM said 'Benjamin do you want a wee-wee' and he went and sat on the potty :T:T
He had his trousers on but at least the language is starting to sink in.
We have been sitting him on the potty at home for 5 or 6 weeks now, just for a bit of nappy off time in the evening. We are not expecting him to do anything yet, just getting him used to the idea.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
