We started off with ebm, but then once she was getting used to solids I started making things up with formula instead - I figure the amount of milk you use making up breakfast cerial it isn't worth worrying about.

Nothing wrong with the occasional jar

I know! :rotfl:
I am going to give her homemade food, but for the times when i cba she's having jars
At the baby class she got us to try homemade and jar foods, but the jar foods she got us to try prob went out of date in 1998! And they were genuinally disgusting flavours!
When i was younger (like 15/16) i used to buy myself the apple and pear baby dessert, its sooo nice!:o
I found with baby rice and milk, i would make it with the required amount of milk and it was runny. By the time i got it to Lily is was almost solid!
So i use loads of milk now because of its super soaking abilitys :rotfl:0 -

I saw on the boots baby thread on the grabbit board earlier some monitors are now reduced and breast pumps too. Someone said stores will have more to mark down next week.
They also have mexican nipple hats reduced which I am so glad to never need againBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

I agree - I intend to puree my own but for 18p a jar it just isn't worth it lol
EA - you know that they're just with the normal stuff and have the ordinary white price tickets, only the old price is crossed through and the cheaper price is written next to it?
I was looking for red labels at first so must have missed loads of bargains in the first 2 stores I tried. The best one for me was a tiny little boots chemist that's only a 10 min walk from my house. I didnt even know it was there until I did a search on boots store finder.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
