Cheers hammy - I am having to hang on to him so he doesn't run away and he has a face like a grumpy teenager but at least we are together :D

    Hello lovelies,

As ever I disappeared...life is so busy :o Rare afternoon at home, just me and the boy, so thought I'd poke my head in whilst eBaying more of our c*ap. Only managed to get back a page or so & no chance on catching up on the missed weeks.

    How is everyone?

Hammy sorry to hear about D's chicken pox, poor baby, he still looks lovely with all his spots though :p

I am also now lusting after a Hatley rain coat, though still fancy the yellow one from Debenhams - saw it in the shop a few days ago and it's dead cute.

Guy is growing sooooo big - saw SJ & lovely little Alfie yesterday, and thought, oh my god, my child is a giant :rotfl: He's a good head taller at about 7 weeks younger! Alfie's so lovely and gentle too. My brother has started to call Guy 'Guyzilla', I think it's something to do with the wild banging/flailing combined with his sudden love of growling like a dog?! Crazy boy

p.s. some Boots have got the 'Burt's Bees' range cheap too - saw the body cream at £2.50 the other day but they'd sold out :(

p.p.s. Anyone got any fabulous 30th bday gift ideas for my OH from Guy? I keep drawing a blank, and have 10 days to go!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

    Guyzilla :rotfl: I love it!!
  • What's your budget gym?

For fathers day last year I bought hubby a digital photo frame and put lots of pics on it from before Benjamin was born. I then wrote him a card from Benjamin saying that he hoped that daddy would spend lots of time explaining to him all the fun memories that he wasn't around for.

Hubby was very touched and Benjamin and hubby do love looking at the frame together now (a year or so later LOL)

No real budget MFD, well, I don't wanna spend thousands! But for something good I'm willing to spend :/ I've not actually got him anything from me yet either. Picture frame sounds a good idea - I did think about getting just one nice big frame and having a black & white pic of the two of them in it...will look at digital frames :)

I like MFD's idea, and I like your idea of a black and white pic too.

Is your OH into any sports? You could do a shirt/kit for him and a matching one for Guy.

Or how about a photo book of pics of you and OH, pregnancy pics and then pics of all of you. We got one done from Photobox and it is beautiful quality and came within a week.

I know who I would be asking to do the cake if I was you though ;).

Next would be for the boys, don't really seem to ever get them much in our local Debenhams. Much prefer Debenhams for me too, but after many years of shop, shop, shopping I now hate shopping for me, Nothing ever looks right. And I can't be assed to look properly. Will take the vouchers after associated activities ;) and may be put away for Christmas presents.

MFD Loving the new Avvy also.
