I may have fixed it to come Thursday 29th- Sunday 1st - but can't confirm until I speak to my boss tomorrow? Is that OK?

I am so glad I am off work tomorrow as after the day I've had today it's a wonder I am still sane

Thank you all for your help and suggestions. :A
Hammy - we had chicken pox here 6 weeks ago and got a pretty bad dose (spots in eyes, ears, foof etc) and although she's a bit older than David it wasn't too bad - she didn't scratch much and was miserable for a few days. Sadly the spots stayed for longer so she was still contagious and that was the worst bit - not being able to go out (for her and me!) For the spots we put vaseline on top of calomine lotion to stop them being picked off. Now she's still got a few scars left we're using Vitamin E body butter every night (good for scars) and where she has some deep ones on her face we're using Vit E oil - but this has to be applied v carefully! (I would check this out though perhaps with a doc if he has had bad eczema) Hope it gets better soon. The scars are slowly fading.

My daughter is a complete mystery to me. After walking on her knees for 3 months she's finally decided that her feet are better for walking on. Hoorah. She doesn't say much at all (although she babbles all the time) and when we were watching the grand prix yesterday she pointed at it and said clear as day'racing cars' Would not say it again though!

Thank you. David is getting more and more spots before my very eyes so I think it is going to be quite bad for him. They are already in his ears and mouth :(.
Just flicking through and saw this, please don't use Calamine lotion, it dries the spots up too quickly and makes them more itchy. Can D have Piriton? Thats what I used to stop the itching and then she never really bothered about the spots and they cleared up on their own.

(I'm sure someone probably beat me to it with that info)

Thank you. D already has Piriton to ease the itching of his eczema but thank you for thinking of it for us.

We went out to Boots to look for rhus tox but the 1st store didn't have any although they had lots of reduced nappes and food bits and pieces so it would have been rude to leave them there. The 2nd Boots store only had rhus tox pillules (!!!!!!?) but as they are so small I got them anyway as I reckoned D could easily swallow them. They also had lots of reduced nappies and food stuff so my cupboards are full to bursting :rotfl:

we need the pushchair in the airport so the bag was only a practice run today :) thx for all the suggestions though! The sling is in my bag if we need it too, as i'm not sure it's worth unpacking the pushchair for our very short connection in Chicago :)

Finn's a rolling machine on the floor, but thankfully - touch wood - doesn't try and do it on the changing table much. He loves standing up and can turn himself upside down in his cot! will be mobile very soon, I think.

Hammy, hope u can get ahold of Tara's remedy and poor D feels better soon. This poor kid's been through the ringer!

Well mostly packed, just the usual last minute stuff now. I feel paranoid the taxi is going to turn up with no carseat, even though we've confirmed 3 times :p

Fitz, good luck finding a CM. That's top of my list when we get home. :(

SJ - Glad your mum is making a bit of progress with your dad, even if it is just a little bit at a time. And excellent that your website is being recommended. Have you decided if you are going back to your old job when your mat leave is over or are you busy enough that you could you do baking as your main job?
Would you be up for a meet when you are up or are you too busy with family stuff?

Csh/Caz/Dora/Beenie/SJ/Tia/anyone else not listed who is interested...
I have plans on 19th July (which was the date of the Scottish meet, but not sure if that's happening - Scruffy can't make it either) and 23rd July. I am up for a meeting on another day, but preferably after 23rd.

Tara - I got a sale slot too and saw that you had!!

Hammy - hope you can do something to ease David's discomfort. My friend's little boy had it last week, and he is only 8 months too. At least it will be over with soon and he shouldn't get it again.

I have a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, and yes they are fixing it but I don't want it back.

Can I ask if it's a lactose allergy he has or an intolerance?
