:( David has chicken pox :(. Calpol and calamine lotion all the way here

Just flicking through and saw this, please don't use Calamine lotion, it dries the spots up too quickly and makes them more itchy. Can D have Piriton? Thats what I used to stop the itching and then she never really bothered about the spots and they cleared up on their own.

(I'm sure someone probably beat me to it with that info)

    seconding this.

calpol/medised and piriton .. oat baths (run oats under water in a bag.. or else they float about like scabs lol).. gentle sponging works well.. keeping skin cool stops itchiness too

I have scalded the whole top of my hand, it is very red and ouchy!!

Definatly! i was thinking of fun and maybe even a chillout day? need to look into it though :D

Im not sure what weekend you have looked up but if possible the weekend 30-2 would be better for us as i forgot we have a birthday and a night camping the weekend before :o sorry i have just been reminded.

Oh no I was looking at the weekend before as the Friday/Monday are the only days in "green" for holidays at work, the rest of July and August is red :( I'll have to have a rethink.

Use sudocrem on it - that's what I always do if I burn myself and it heals more quickly and hurts less than when I didn't do it.

Hammy – Let us know how David gets on at docs. It sounds totally horrendous for you and I don’t blame you for wanting to treat yourself to tasty food sometimes – you have a lot to cope with. I am sure I wouldn’t be coping as well.

Boo – Did you manage to track down any Little Stars packs? The had no Little Stars at all in my local Asda! Will try to get to Tesco today.

I can still leave Holly on the changing station or the bed! Although she is crawling and can go from sitting to crawling and back again and gets around fine, if she rolls on to her back, she screams for me. It took her ages to roll, and The has done it a few times, but never quite mastered it! It does mean that I can leave her on her back and she won’t go anywhere though! Strange, but kind of useful.

SJ – Keep meaning to ask how your family situations are. How are grandparents? Are your sister and your mum ok – you had said they were having marriage troubles?

Csh – Glad you had a great holiday. Can’t believe how much you spent! Don’t tell my OH. I am trying to convince him we won’t spend much on top of the cost of holiday for a HB deal!
Can’t think what you have missed. Maybe everyone can give their own updates! I still don’t have a childminder and went to see a horrendous one last week. Holly has the cold and has now passed it to me. And I can’t blow my nose in peace as her favourite thing is to rip up tissues!

Lady - Very sorry to hear about your grandad. x

Hi Fitz, no not managed to find any little stars yet, although I ended up in co-op instead of tesco. I should get to tesco this week so I'll let u know, hope u have more luck!

Ha T is kinda the same, he has only just started to enjoy rolling IYSWIM, he could do it before but I don't think he wanted to as he never was one to enjoy being on his front, so I think he used to just stay on his back most of the time. i have to say I kinda liked knowing he was never gonna go far but I think he is getting into rolling a bit more now, up my mums earlier he was all over the place down her hallway and moved quite a way.

When are you in Dundee again?

I've missed 3 weeks holidays I've had booked as I've been put through as sick. I've 5 weeks to take before the end of November. I don't mind taking teh 3 weeks off but I'd prefer her to tell me there is someone else there as far as she knows I don't know about it!

    Ah I see. I'm up 25th-29th July.
