EA - LOL it sounds like a lot of people have seen your pants :p The midwife said that a HV would much rather see an untidy house with a played with baby than an imaculate house with a baby that gets hardly any attention.

Most of Portsmouth have seen my pants. Im always the girl who's dress gets blown up on windy days :(

Also, alongside the untidy house, Lily was on the floor entertaining herself and Cbeebies was on. I was watching cbeebies more though, i really get into sometimes :o:rotfl:

SJ, yay for the recemondation! You should go and say hi on the thread :D

We have bought cleaning supplies to really clean this house once we move. ILs have hired a moving van for us :)

Oh my it is dreadfully hot. It hit 38 degrees in town today, and although there were ominous thunderclouds the rain lasted all of seven minutes and just made things more humid. I'm sitting here with a wet Tshirt on to try to combat the heat, it's actually doing a pretty good job.

    I have two questions:

1: for ladies who've had C-sections, does the area immediately above your scar ever swell up? I'm thinking water retention but wanted to know if this was normal or if I should go see my doctor?

2: has anyone's little one got toes that cross over? Molly's second and third toes on each foot are a bit crowded, and apparently it's fairly common and often goes away when they start walking and yada yada yada but those babies in the imagination of Molly's doctor aren't real, IYSWIM.

Liberal hugs all round for anyone who needs them.

Yes because the muscles are damaged too not just the nerves.

Yes DD5 has toe moulds for hers.. but they have little/no effect. operating is pointless though our orthopaedic surgeon suggested it.

Curly toes are caused by the tendons not growing as fast as the bones.. they are too short so pull the toe under the others.. if it is operated on it cause absolute agony for weeks .. horrible op.. and next time their feet grow the tendons don't and you are back to them being as they were before. If they are ever to be operated on it should be as an adult once the feet have stopped growing.. but they won't want to do it then as it is purely cosmetic in most cases and becomes major surgery.

They do often improve once they start walking and putting pressure on them.

Lilys little toe is crossed under the rest of her toes, if i put it in its right place she just wiggles it back to under her other toes.

She doesn't seem to bothered by it though.
