Is there any chance they'll offer the 3.9% life of ballence to those who've already got an M&S card?0

I applied on thursday at 6.30pm but have not received an email at all - so either they are really busy or my "computer says no" letter is heading this way in the post.
Or am I being impatient?Nice Shoes & Expensive Designer Handbags, are my downfall!0 -

I've currently gone over my agreed overdraft limit with my bank, will I be able to transfer my balance over from my bank, or can you only balance transfer from other credit/store cards? I have read the articles regarding balance transfers on here which have proved very helpful, I'm only asking because on some cards it mentions balance transfers from current accounts/credit cards while on others it mentions just credit cards. As you can probably tell I'm new to all this so if anyone could answer me I'd be very grateful!
You can't do that with this one unfortunately, only balance transfers from other CCs. What you want is known as a 'Super Balance Transfer'.0 -

Very much doubt it because the old card had a great 0% offer. However give them a call and see what they will do. Seem to remember a couple of people on here saying that had called M&S to cancel and been offered another special deal....0 -

Very few credit cards provide this facility.
*Super* balance transfer is an expression Martin has coined to explain this capability. You won't find the term used by credit card companies!

Thanks rsykes2000 & Moggles, looking at the Super BT article nowMaybe you're the same as me, we see things they'll never see...0

Applied for this last night, still not heard anything. Hoping that if i am accepted they give good credit limits. Ideally wanting £13,000 but i can't see me getting it., although joint income is around £35,000. Has anyone else had their credit limits yet?

You won't get £13k straight away unless your very lucky - probably around half of that. Nothing to stop to asking them to raise it every 6 months though0 -
I sent all my signed paperwork back yesterday. Then they say it will be 7-10 days to dispatch the card. I'll post my credit limit once it comes through.

I was rejected for an M&S card when I had high credit limits and was my first ever rejection. As much as I'd love this card, I get the impression that with my much reduced credit limits and 9 month losing streak I'd also be rejected.0
