M&S card new offer

Just got to know from friends:

M&S credit card will launch new offer within this week for NEW card application:

----0% purchase for a year ( which is very good for Christmas shopping !! )

----3.9% balance transfer until you paid off. (no fee !!!)

Please keep an eye for their website, when their new TV ads on sometime this week, this offer will be on as well......LOL

Does that mean they are ditching their current 6 month 0% percent balance transfer offer?

Damn - another good 0% balance transfer card gone - now just Natwest and RBS now for capped fee cards that I can use....

Just got the following response from M&S via e-mail, I applied about 10.30am today.


Thank you for applying for the new &MORE Credit Card, the only card to beseen with and the only credit card you'll ever need. We endeavour to offer our Internet customers a speedy response therefore,you will be contacted with a decision by post shortly. Please accept our apologies for the short delay. Looks like a thanks but no thanks reply heading my way.

Edit There is a phone number on the e-mail does anyone reckon I should (and the rest of us who get this e-mail) phone up and see if they will give the result over the phone....

I got stopped in a shop today and offerred one of these cards, said yes but I didn't have time to do it in store so I took the form and phoned thru the application.....Declined...so how embarrased would I have been in the shop if this pushy salesperson had got her way and did it on the spot:eek:

Also got the email within 48 hours message; so hopefully by your logic VWMan I'll get this outrageously good sounding card.

Or it could be the other way and it'll be VWMan laughing all the way to a 3.9% LoB Transfer!
