hi, sorry, i've not been able to post.

we managed to get away! :j:beer::j:beer::j

i want to say thank you all so much for every bit of advice, it was lovely to know that people actually did care. we went to the neighbours and they said we should ring the police, i said not to, but they rang them and the police came and spoke to us and offered a local refuge, but they went to 'talk to' Him right then and said he wouldn't be let back to the flat that night and they could take us to a refuge next day, but that gave me time to sort out money and go to a bed and breakfast.

i won't say all that happened to him, but we are safe now.

    thank you!!

Everyone is going to flame me now, but I have to say this.

There's a good chance this poster is real, and like everyone else here, I do hope she's safe now. However, there is a tiny chance that this is a hoax, or even worse, a man who is trying to locate someone in Ayr who is already in the refuge. Please be careful what you send by pm.

And a million apologies to the OP if she is real -I hope she'll understand my caution.

Can I just say that I 100% agree.

There are some very vunerable people on these boards who are also very supportive and kind.

No matter what someone's circumstance is or appears to be, please remember vigilance.

I'm sure the OP would more than agree given the circumstances they have described.
"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."

Well done you for managing to get yourself and your daughter out. It's not an easy thing to do and you had the courage to do it. Your daughter is very lucky to have you as a mum :)

Keep posting if it helps, sometimes when there are hard things ahead it's good to look back and see how far you've come...
