I agree 100% with moneypenny. What you're saying above was me 4 years ago - working all the hours under the sun and getting very stressed (and ill) in the process.
You need some time to yourself to wind down and recharge your batteries - putting it bluntly, there's no point in having paid off all your debts if you're too ill to enjoy being debt-free at the end of it.
Try to get some time for you during the week, maybe turn down one bit of overtime a week and have that time for you otherwise you'll be one of the ones off sick.
Take care
((hugs))

Aw thanks Spoon, I'm beginning to realise when its getting too much these days - I used to feel like I had to be the perfect housewife as well as working full time, but if you came round to ours now you would see standards have slipped! I'm planning on riding the nag after work a couple of nights this week with some good friends for company, we went on Friday and I can't think of a better way to spend a warm summers eveningGeorgieFTB wrote: »OK I have another NSD, 3rd one so far this month!!! You can't do everything, Kate, none of us can. Deciding the priorities is sometimes difficult though, and it's even more difficult when it's you right in the middle.
Really glad you're having a couple of nights off this week, you really do need some time to relax and recharge your batteries.
Take care

Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Lots of posts and NSDs rolling in today, well done everyone. Hope you’ve all had a good weekend despite the weather (too hot in the east and rainy and windy in the west).
Well done to:
:jteenyweenyspender: well done for no 7 - you’re doing brilliantly this month, yipeeee indeed. Keep going
:jchris81418: well done for no 6, definitely back on course now, third of the way there now as well. Keep going
:jmz_grim: well done for no 4, you’re doing well there, and fingers crossed for no 5 today
:jfranby64: well done for no 3 and good for you for refusing to buy the kids biscuits.
There’s a link on the frontpage to homemade biscuits - if that helps?
:jSoma: well done for no 3, doing well there. Only teasing about OH and the milk
:jBroken hearted: well done for no 3, getting easier for you now I hope
:jshoe_gal_84: well done for nos 5 and 6, you’re doing great.
Hope the charity music event went well?
:jd3mon4ngel: well done for no 1 - you’re up and running now, that’s brilliant
Of course you can change your target, I’ll move it down to 5 for you. Getting NSDs takes a bit of getting used to sometimes, but you’ve made a start now which is great

Hot as the devil’s armpit - what a brilliant saying!! The Globe is a great evening out - what did you see?

:jBigMumma: well done for no 8 yesterday - brilliant!
Do you really take Iggie out for a walk?
:jkatenut: well done for no 6, you’re doing great. Sorry, but your friends are really ungrateful if they can’t even buy you a drink, that’s awful
:jLadyfromVenice: well done for no 5, you’re doing brilliantly!
Hope you worked out what the cheque’s for?
:jpure dead dopey: fingers crossed for today - and good luck with the wardrobe choices, need far more clothes holidaying in the UK than anywhere else in the world.
Arrrrghh to all the rain.... and the wind... and the trench foot...
Update: but well done for no 5 - halfway there now, brilliant

:jJo_Rourke: well done for no 3, you’re doing brilliantly.
Good news about the meal planning and OH getting into the NSD way of thinking, it’s much easier when your family is on board as well
:jTixy: well done for no 4, nearly halfway there now, brilliant
Good for you for not being tempted to keep up with your friend on Saturday, that’s definitely a turning point and remembering to buy fuel is great, you’re definitely getting your organised NSD head on now
:jdmb: well done for no 3 on Saturday, that’s brilliant.
Not sure about the £2 for your DD, it depends really what rules you have set for yourself, whether you class that as an essential spend or include it in your food budget, etc
:jSmilerwoman: well done for getting to no 4 - that’s brilliant - nearly halfway now. Not surprised you’re smiling
:jbeanielou: well done for no 6 - over halfway now - that’s brilliant
Glad the rain has stopped but eeek to the mud
:jNargle: well done for no 3 - that’s brilliant - and for getting DS’s birthday presents sorted today
:jfedupandskint: well done for no 5 - nearly halfway there now - you’re doing brilliantly
:jBDINI: well done for no 5, you’re doing well to get that many with all the work going on
Grrrr to your boiler man leaving stains all over your carpet, that is soooo inconsiderate
Don’t try to do too much when it’s very hot like this, you’ll wear yourself out - take care
:jcandyapple: well done for no 6 - over halfway now, that’s brilliant
Glad you had a good day today and hope you enjoy tomorrow
:jifwishes: well done for no 6 - and for avoiding chocolate - nearly there now!!!

Hope doglet is OK?
purple_angel: good luck for no 6 today, keeing my fingers crossed

elfen: oh dear to no NSD today, but well done for grouping the shopping together and fingers crossed for tomorrow:)
TMVen: low spend day by the sounds of it, so not too bad. Hope the decluttering day goes OK tomorrow:)
AllieBallie: there are some great links on the front page, well worth taking a look at them. Variety in menus is definitely the way to go:T
Dorastar: ((hugs)) you’re having a bad time at the moment, hope things pick up for you soon. Great news about DH finding a job, that must be a huge relief.
See you back in August:)

OMG! I feel your pain BDINI - that happened to me a couple of years ago when I got Sky installed and the guys tramped wet, muddy boots all over my living room carpet. When I asked them to take their boots off they said they couldnt cos of health and safety - I said "yours or mine, cos Im not gonna be responsible for my actions!"

well i only managed 1 nsd this weekend and that was yesterday, did go shopping but HIM paid :j:j
sat was a complete wash out, we had takeout and booze, lots and lots of booze, because we had to have our 16yr old dog PTS, she was starting to suffer, and it would have been cruel to keep her just for our sakes, its hurts like hell espesh coz we have had her since she was only 6 weeks old:(:(:(
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

Morning all - just on to report NSD # 6 - yay!:j
Didnt go out at all yesterday, did a bit of housework, baked some choc chip cookies and a strawberry cream sponge, then did a bit of knitting and read my book - bliss!
Today I need milk and frozen peas for the risotto I'm having for tea tonight, so small spend unfortunately. Nothing exciting planned today, Im off to get my fortnightly blood tests done and then drop some books off at the library. Really should do my ironing but Im not really in the mood;)
Will catch up with my Ma and Pa as they're just back from they're hols in Whitby.
Loving the awards Spoon - I WANT THAT CAT!
Have a great day everyone
