I have one too....v unpractical but it's preeeeeeetty
Well done on the job offer and on all the decision making, it sounds like you've given it a good bit of thought and come to a decision that suits you.
As I said earlier it was NSD No.7 today, sort of by necessity rather than choiceFainted this morning (low blood pressure, I am prone to it ) and have been quite achey all day because I fell in a sort of awkward heap (v dignified, as you can imagine!) so wasn't feeling like doing very much but staying around the house and doing some cooking and baking. Did get a good lot made - hubby was v pleased as obviously he benefited from all the baking
He is the bestest guinea pig! Cooked a roast chicken and just discovered the "Rubber Chicken" thread on Old Style as I was looking for a recipe for soup, as I thought I could use the carcass. It gave me loads of good ideas!
I cannot believe it's Monday again tomorrowNote to self...buy time machine on Eb4y....
Sleep tight everyone

Definitely, rentawitch, love it - the louder the better (that's possibly why people have to talk a bit louder to me nowadays).
Enoy the weekends, I'm very envious:D:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

candyapple: :jwell done, your target of 10 NSDs well and truly smashed today. :jYou also are the proud owner of the dancing kitty, please look after her;)
Looking forward to some more over the rest of the month:)
Well done to:
:jchris81418: well done for no 12 - only 7 more to get now, you can do it
Oooh...... £60 is going to be a bit tight - good luck:)
And thanks...:o
:jfranby64: well done for no 5 - halfway there now, that’s brilliant:)
:jmz_grim: well done for no 9 - only 3 more to get now, keep going!:)
:jBroken hearted: well done for no 5, halfway there now, brilliant. Hope you enjoyed your Sunday lunch and worked some of it off on the wii fit:D
:jKeiss 21: well done for getting to no 7 - 5 NSDs on holiday is brilliant!
Glad you managed to spend a bit more time with your dad, he must have loved having you there and glad things are better with your sis now. Sorry DH wasn’t well, hope he’s recovered. Good to have you back, we missed you:A
:jboultdj: well done for no 10 (yes, it is 10, so you’re not going senile after all..)
Loving the essential beer days, think we all have those:D
:jMainyasha: well done for no 16 - only 4 more to get now, that’s brilliant
Ahh:o... thanks
:jLadyfromVenice: well done for no 9 - that’s brilliant, well over halfway now
Liking the name dropping - some serious claims to fame there;)
:jGeorgieFTB: well done for no 4, you’re doing great. Sounds as though you’ve had a busy time recently though, but you seem to be getting organised with the spends now, good luck and looking forward to lots of updates from you now:D
:jBigMumma: well done for no 11, doing great as always.
Hope you enjoyed Top Gear - I loved the “mobile” homes:rotfl:
:jJo_Rourke: well done for no 7 - only 4 more to get now, keep going!
Yay indeed to selling the pair of shoes - that’s brilliant!
Oh dear, sorry to hear about the fainting fit:(, hope you’re OK now. And yes, the rubber chicken thread is great:T
:jifwishes: well done for getting to no 10 - your target is well and truly smashed now and Johnny Depp is beckoning.:D
Awwww:o... thanks
:jBDINI: well done for no 9, over halfway now, that’s brilliant
Think you’re right about the kitchen spends, I would class that as essential and certainly not a rubbish spend at all - your twisted logic makes perfect sense to me:D
And thanks:o.. not too much of a rest day unfortunately, but a much quieter week ahead which will be good
:j3Dogs: well done for no 9, that’s brilliant. I reckon you can count Saturday as an NSD, you’ll probably make the money back (and more), so a neutral spend - no 9 is safe:D
Good luck with getting the remaining 3 - oh, and are you going on holiday?:rotfl:
:jhoneybun16: well done for getting to no 8 and for your NSD weekend, glad you enjoyed it - there is definitely more to life than shopping or spending money;)
:jcw18: well done for nos 13 and 14 - Johnny Depp is drawing ever closer
Sorry OH has damaged his leg, but great news about the running, it’s all coming together:T
:jTMVen: well done for no 11, you’re doing brilliantly
Sorry about the PMS:(, hope you feel better tomorrow
:jFirewalker: well done for no 8, well over halfway now, that’s brilliant
Good luck for the next few days, there has to be some benefit to working long hours;)
And hello to everyone else:
moneypenny2k: congrats for getting the job, that must be a huge morale-booster. If the job’s right for you, you’ll know and will make the right decision - good luck.:)
jintyb: a good bacon roll is definitely worth losing an NSD for - yum!:D
Hope you enjoyed the golf - I thought it was good this year. Did you get any gardening done today - it’s been tipping down here all day. Happy knitting!
beanielou: aww.... thanks:o, I like doing it, it keeps me on the straight and narrow
rentawitch: dress fitting sounds interesting - is it one of your fancy dress outings or something posh? Do tell:D.... Nothing wrong with a bottle of wine though
Nargle: oh dear, sorry about the mobile top up and liquid gold today:( - hope you manage some during the week
shoe_gal_84: well done for the carboot, that’s great, and for the kitchen taps, even better, what a bargain. Fingers crossed for your 3bay listings as well:T
kathy40uk: oh dear to the washing powder, been there myself a number of times and it’s very annoying:mad:...
Ahh, thanks:o, much appreciated. Got an easier week next week, so all will be fine again
One more NSD for me today, taking me up to no 14:j
Off to do the usual update now, see you all tomorrow.

Good morning everyone!
Yesterday was NSD 13 - at this rate, I should meet my pledge with ease - yip pee!
Congrats on the job offer MoneyPenny - although I'm a born n bred townie too, I love the Hebrides and would love to live island life - I've never been to Guernsey though ... if you decide to take the job, would there be room for myself and the rest of the NSD gang to visit!! :rotfl: Good luck with coming to your decision.
Have a good day everyone!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:

Morning all - just been catching up with the posts, you all are on top form as usual!
Moneypenny - congrats on being offered the job, glad you made the right decision for you.
Jo_rourke - hope you're feeling a bit better today!
Keiss - nice to see you back , glad you had a good holiday!
Made it into double figures yesterday - #10 for me!:j
We managed to get a bit of gardening done yesterday - DH cut the grass and cut back a hedge that had gone a bit mad. I did a lot of supervising and I watered and fed all the pots and containers, think I got the best deal!;)
Had to leave my knitting at KNITTING HQ ( mums house) as I hit a wee complicated bit and had to get her to sort it for me. Its a learning curve for me! Will retrieve it today and be back on track!
Small spend today, need milk, spring onions and bin liners. Now there's an odd list!
Have a great day everyone!:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -

Morning - I'm back from holidays and totally skint so must try harder with the NSDs.
There are 13 days (including today) left in July (just counted!) so I should be able to get to my target of 6 more this month.
I'm not working until Sept now (teacher) so I have lots of time and not much money - will have to find cheap/free things to do.
Today I need to go food shopping (budgeted for so doesn't count for me), post an Amazon parcel (same) but nothing else that should require money. Maybe I can start with a NSD/LSD today??!0 -
Mornin everyone!
This weekend was birthday weekend, so anything I wanted was bought for me! :j NSD's 6 & 7 clocked up now2019 will be my year!!0 -
NSD number 10 for me on Friday
Back from a lovely but exhausting weekend away, nice to spend time with my family as well. Have pulled down, reboarded and replastered 4 ceilings in our old house, I don't think I have ever been so dirty! Got no chance of catching up on the thread, have I missed anything?! xxTrying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0
