    Debt-free and Proud!
    Good morning everyone!

Welcome back Spoon - we missed you! Yesterday was NSD number 12 for me - YAY!! Unfortunately I only have £60 to last me until the end of the month and I still haven't done a big food shop which is still on the cards - at least that should help me reach my NSD pledge!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone!

    Hi all

Not had a chance to catch up so hugs to those who need them and well done to those that have achieved.

I've not had a nsd all this week  Been in too much of a flap. I've been offered the job in Guernsey and now don't know if I should take it or not. The island is very small and as a townie born and bred I don't know if I would take to the life or not. Hence been in a big flap.

Going to try and make up my shortfall of days next week

    Morning all -
welcome back Spoon - hope you've recovered from your busy spell, it's not the same on here without you!:A
Stuck to our shopping plans yesterday, goody cupboard well and truly stocked up! DH paid for that, but I stumped up for the coffee and bacon rolls, so no NSD. Never mind, they were bloomin good and I enjoyed it!:D Spent the rest of the day avoiding the rain and watching the golf.
Hopefully today we'll get a bit of gardening done, it's a wee bit neglected due to the weather. Also going to Mum's to catch up with them, plus I need to get my baby cardi finished so I'll be knitting later. I've been too busy reading to knit! The baby is due in 5 weeks so I should manage it!;) Not planning on spending any dosh!

Hope you're all well today - have a lovely day everyone!:)

    Morning

Had an unexpected NSD yesterday. I was all set to go to the shops for my usual Saturday spend, looked around and realised I didn't actually need anything!

    So that was no 5...halfway there...somehow :).

Hmmmm difficult one moneypenny2k...I am a country lass through and through, so would jump at the chance to be back on a small island.

Is the job one you really want? If so, then perhaps it is worth taking a chance on moving there, you never know, you may love island life! It is a big step though...have you been to Guernsey at all yet? Perhaps you could get yourself over there to see what you think.

In these days when jobs that are few and far between, it seems like a great oportunity. You have a lot of thinking to do!!!

    Hya everyone ,

Just been totalling up my holiday spending...not too bad really, and well within target...so far! Managed to pick up 5 NSDs on the way too, so now at 7 NSDs for the month, with 5 to go...should do that in the remaining 13 days, I may even manage to increase my target!!!!

Saved a fair bit by not getting to Orkney in the end...DH had S&D for all of last weekend, so we had to cancel :( Mind you we have had all our money refunded, which is great!! :j This meant a few more days at my dad's, so DS2 and I got loads more weeding done....now I am back, I have to do my own!!!

So not the most restful of holidays, but it was great to see MIL on our way up and down and then a full week at Dad's...not seen him since Aug 2008, so great to hug him again. Also caught up with my other sis (strained relations in the past), and we got on fine (best in years!!) DS2 and DNephew got on well too, which was good.

Done three loads of washing so far today, and may do some more, though the rain is threatening. Need to do a stock-take of all freezer, fridge (cleaned out this morning too) and cupboards so I know what we have...DS1 and GF have been here for a few days, so I have no idea what's where!!

Will try to catch up with all that has been going on here, but still loads to do here at home.

Oh I have missed you all...it's good to be home! :)
