The website http://www.energyreductionuk.co.uk is being rebuilt - and the two testimonials I mentioned (here) are no longer on-line (though of course they are cached).
Time back CSMERUK posted that Energy Reduction UK had NOTHING to do with the (failed) Energy Saving Group though that was easily disproved (here).
The address of Energy Saving Group? Well, on http://www.energysavinggroup.co.uk/contact/ it's shown as:

AND Energy Saving Group can advertise themselves "as seen on television" - at least twice! Watchdog and Rip Off Britain (episode 16). Maybe they wouldn't want to.

Hi all,
Stories sound familiar. Same here in Bristol.. Oct 2010, signed up, Two surveys, five phone calls 14 months later... No result
I wonder if this would do any good?
actionfraud.org.uk/reporting-fraud
If not? Just report to local trading standards? or Worcestershire?
Thanks G0 -
I suggest caution in dealing with this company and their £500 scheme. I decided not to proceed and requested a refund of my deposit, but it was refused. I have subsequently taken them to Small Claims Court and obtained judgement in my favour, but they still have not refunded. I know of several other people in my neighbourhood in the same boat.0

Have you not read the above? The company have gone bust and have reappeared in the guise of ENERGY Reduction UK
You and your friends would be better reporting the above to trading standards officers and the police.0 -

Secondly - they use Norton (trading also under the name My Energy Station) for their solar panel insulations
Just noticed the mention of Norton (Norton Energy Solutions)... A good friend had a very similar experience with this this company whom are "apparently" notorius for using middle men in this way. Needless to say that upon installation they had an influx of issues (which are continuing to date).0 -

That is exactly what everyone should consider. If the police get enough reports about the activities of the two companies and directors, then they might carry out an investigation.
It is also worth pointing out, that even if no criminal offence has been committed, directors who have acted improperly can be banned from being a company director for a set period of X years.0
