    catflea...who/what? is nibbler

Fermi's Avatart is nibbler. Nibbler is a character from Futurama, kinda like a futuristic dog. He will eat anything going and (in a later episode we discover) poops starship fuel. Quite a useful attribute in the year 3000 :D

I thought it had gone quiet. Just found you again!! Oh no already 4 pages to catch up. I am always playing catch up.

Anyway, I look forward to the next chapter. All we need now is for some snazzy lawyers who can spot loopholes or ways around things. to join and give some free advice

Just a thought and I am not sure if anybody has any ideas. If there are any lawyers around is there a way that we could petition UK Parliament for a new law that would protect people from this happening and/or some kind of amendment to the current law that would not allow builders to squirm out of paying back what they owe? After all they are asking people what laws should be scrapped. With some decent legal advice and the right wording, the very least that would happen would be the issue would be highlighted. We could even lobby MPs to support the petition and have a national campaign on facebook/twitter etc.

Reverts to lurkdom in case I have caused any offence.

There was a post earlier on about petitioning the govt

Are there any specific laws you can add to this site to be abolished/ammended, then we can all rate it.

Nothing offensive about anything you've said. Just talk of lawyers and Europe makes me glaze over. I'm sure someone here has the necessary skill set to make it happen.

Hi Cherisong, I too wish we could find a lawyer or two to jump on board. I agree that we could do with getting this problem highlighted with the Government. A FB/Twit campaign could be good. Where do we start though? Should we all bombard the local MP's of the Littlehampton/Horsham area, then move on to the next area and so on. Maybe if we were swift enough and numerous enough we could have several MP's asking the same questions in "The House" at the same time.

Radarjet, thanks for the link. Is that the new Government suggestion website? (I'm guessing it is) I heard on the news today that so many people were using it that it kept crashing.

Maybe if we can work together to put something in writing and post it and all support it that would be great.

I read on the CAB site that they work with Parliamentarians regarding debt related laws and practices, so maybe we could find out a bit more about that. Anyone from the CAB able to give us more info?

Keep up the good work peeps - we have to do something!

    Poo

    Thanks
