I do seem to have that effect on women.

Boys here this weekend. We have lots to do and catch up on. Two years' worth.

Take it easy, you have the rest of your life to catch up and so many new memories just waiting to be made. I guess it will take them a bit longer to get used to their new home than you, like it will take them back to the reveal day for their first few visits back to you. How fab is that, re-living that wonderful day?

I'm so happy for you. I am a happy person now.

I have to get off to bed now so sleep well everyone, enjoy your homes and you elephants and anything else that happens to float your boats! lol

    Good night all.

And GOOD MORNING to Mike and all his mobsters!!!

Loved your letter to the BBC Mike, felt very pleased with myself for getting through it without the eyes leaking.....(hayfever you understand?) :p

Then I read savingmummys post and still needed the kleenex! :o That was a post straight from the heart too! I do remember an early post from savingmummy when she posted about never being so worried about another poster! Also remember causing her to shed tears when we were finally in a position to help you out of your situation with the e-mail campaign and the joy it gave her as well as many other of your supporters. The response from everyone was very heartwarming. Bless 'em all!

savingmummy I hope you are also very happy in your new home. :A

Hope to get online at the same time as you all one day soon but as everyone seems to have gone to bed happy....Have a great day everyone!

Mike you made me cry 'a la Railway Children' again :(

Lovely letter, enjoy a great weekend with your boys :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Don't be worried SB. I had a backlog of chores and 'stuff' which was shoved to one side prior to our trip. Catching up and preparing to go again on Monday. I lurk a few times a day, but I must switch off for a while.

Will never forget any of you.

Aww thanks SB. I cried at every imformative pm didnt i :)
I was so worried at the start i even contacted Martin Lewis who did pm me back several times throughout the lead up to getting the dolls house done, felt safer knowing someone higher up was aware of Mikes situation.

Our new home is lovely although our savings took a huge battering and still need some things.
Still sleeping on a matress on the floor LOL But we are happy here and the children love the space :) xx

Yes I did it cost me £329 for a new one, mind you I did get £50 off the price. Delivered it Saturday and its working a treat. I realised it the old one had not been working properly for quite some time.

I have read your letter Mike, it was a good job I got the tissues from Tesco this morning!! What a lovely letter. You have a way with words, you really should think about writing a book about your experiences, I know it would give hope to others who may have been in a similar situation to you. Not that DIY SOS would gallop to everyones aid, but that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I came to your thread very late in the day, I went back to the beginning and spent a day reading the whole thread, it made me sad and angry at the same time; I must admit I ranted and also cried with frustration at your plight, especially when I saw the one show piece on utube. No one should have had to go through what you and the boys did. To take away your health, money and almost your sanity was very cruel. I do hope that eventually you manage to get some money out of the louse....he owes you big time.......

I may not post very often, but I read the thread every day, I wish you evey happiness in your 'new' home; I look forward to seeing the programme when its aired. I will probably record it and watch it more than once, just to remind me that there are wonderful people in the world.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. I will pursue Mr Bridle later this year, and if possible, forever or until he pays up. It's the principle of the thing. The law needs to change and the One Show and DIY SOS will add weight to the need for change.
