Hi Jacqu79,
I've noticed your posts before and seen we're on a very similar weigh-loss so far and we started at a very similar time! I'm doing low fat though, whereas I see your low carbing. Just wanted to say hi and well done really. How much more do you want to lose (if you don't mind me asking?) I initially said 3 stone but now I'm there (almost-i'm actually on 41lbs loss so far but only update my sig once a week for some reason!) I want to lose another stone, then see how I feel then. It's a great feeling isn't it?!

Hiya CG
I've noticed your posts before too. It's funny how similar both our weight loss journeys have been!:D Yeah I chose to do low carb this time around, as I've serious problems with bingeing and I found that although I lost lots weight on Weight Watchers in the past, I wasn't doing it healthily! I'd use all my points on sweets and crisps, then survive the rest of the day on no point food!:o Decided I needed to deal with my bingeing, and low carb seems to be helping me with this so far. Well done on your loss too!:T It's a massive amount of weight we've lost so far! I've still got almost the same to go again! Another 38lbs til I'm at my goal, but I'm not daunted by it and know I'll get there in the end!:D You must be feeling fantastic being so close to your goal!!:j Congratulations on doing so well!!:T

Weighed in today, 15 stone
feeling very disgusted with myself but trying not to let it get me down as I know my depression has contributed to it...
I did about a 40-50 minute walk to my mums with one of my dogs (had to go up and down a mountain) and whilst I was there I dismantled a wardrobe and humped it down the stairs and outside.
Also walked one of my other dogs (my mastiff is in season so can't be walked). I've not had much sleep so I'm very tired but if I have got some energy left I'm going to get on the exercise bike later
Hey Sequeena
Don't let it get you down! There's no point, as you're dealing with it now! :T Just tell yourself you'll never be that weight again!Well done on all the exercise! I've been rubbish at exercising the past few months! I really need a good kick up the bum I think!:o

Thank youthe thing is I walk miles everyday with my dogs but never shift the weight because I either overeat or don't eat at all. I'm trying to change my eating habits but it's proving harder than I thought.
Get yourself a dog, you won't have any excuses thenWife and mother :jGrocery budget

Yeah, very odd! And even odder is that my real goal (as in to take me to 'normal' BMI) is also about 40ishlbs away!!! I reread my post and realised it sounded like I'm near my goal but I'm not really at all-just setting myself smaller targets on the way to where I want to be and trying not to put pressure on myself to lose 6 stone in one go, because I know I rebel under that kind of pressure:rotfl:
So we really are in this together-fab to have someone at a (remarkably!) similar stage to myself and it'll be fab to chivvy each other along as we go!Oh, and I started really well on the exercise front (wii fit for an hour a day) and have now slowed down to a stand still! If you get someone to give you that kick up the bum, please will you send them over to me next!

Morning all.
I've lost a pound and a half this week which takes me very neatly to exactly 6 and a half stone lost0 -
It's only bloomin' Friday!!
:j
Hope everyone's having an ok day today - but (((HUGS))) to those who need them, and well done to all the losers!:T
Good food day three for me yesterday, and I went out running last night, upped it from 3.5 miles to 5.2 miles! So veryy, very pleased with myself! I actually really enjoyed it again, which is good after Tuesdays horrible experience!
Out for dinner with my girls tonight, and a joint 30th birthday party tomorrow, so the diet will fall by the way side over the weekend, but that's generally the case for me!
Have a great Friday everyone!

Well done again!

I don't run but the days I'm going skating/exercising pretty much as soon as I get home I split my tea in 2 - I have a small half bowl of cous cous plus a little veg and some nuts or porridge with nuts/raisins or quinoa + a little veg or mixed beans etc just before I leave work (it takes me ~an hour to get home and to the ice rink so enough time to be ok to exercise and not feel I have loads of food in my stomach). It is just enough to keep me going but more of a snack sized meal rather than a full evening meal. I then have something else (light) after I get back ~9pm.
Thanks Taka! I did this last night (1 slice of toast and a small tin of beans as a light dinner about 1.5 hours before I went out) I felt so much better than Tuesday! I'll be following your advice more often in future!
