Sygma Bank Credit Cards

Hey everyone
whats the general consensus for card which is easiest to be accepted on for ppl new to credit?
Vanquis seem to accept most, but reading forums seems like we have to keep chasing them for a decision-not ideal for the inexperienced
Sygma seem to be next easiest - the flybe card maybe
CapitalOne are mainly for ppl who have had credit in past so not really looked at
I think Barclaycard initial looks good but no-one seems to mention it much - seems the least used by MSE fans?!
anyone agree/opinions?
thks!!0 -

Personally from experience...Here is what I did....I had no credit history 18 months ago.
Opened a basic bank account...Littlewoods account & a mobile phone....waited 6 months applied for a Barclaycard Initial accepted.
Waited 3 months applied to Sygma flybe £2k limit...then applied for a Full Bank account with HSBC...accepted...then after 3 months had a sygma silver £1K....3 months later HSBC give me £250 overdraft and £1K credit card.
The secret is minimum searches on your credit files, pay back the initial credit you receive on time...then ONLY apply to the places most likely to accept your application (dont waste searches)
In summary...dont bother with Vanquis or Cap 1...try the Initial Card...you can also do a pre-check on the barclaycard website
Hope this helps:p0 -

I got £7500 a few weeks ago from Creation, Wife applied and she has been given £7500 limit as well!
I'm amazed at the limits considering what credit we have available to us!0 -
Has anyone taken out a Creation Loan?
If so, whats the APR like?
Can you apply online etc?0 -

You can't apply online but the APRs are good for small loans but high for large loans, in so much as they are around 13~14% no matter what the amount.
They will accept people with less than ideal credit at a higher APR where other loan companies may not but they are very strict on previous searches, reportedly.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Do they search Equifax only too?
Remember to post a picture of your new Platinum card when it lands and has the CPD been removed this month?0 -

Yes the CPD marker has gone! :j :j :j Just waiting for a Credit Card offer now. I took them up on the OD offer and don't plan on using it but thought having it and being responsible with it would increase my chances of getting a CC further down the line.
I will post all three (Green, Gold, Platinum) tomorrow or Saturday for everyone's perusal
Creation Loans search Equifax only, that's what they told me the last time I called a few months ago, anywayCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

If you are accepted for 1 card and then declined for another how many months is it you are supposed to wait before applying for the same card? The 3 because you've got an account, or 6 because you were declined for a 2nd?
I assume whatever the answer to that, it's the same if you tried a different Sygma/Creation card for your new application after being declined?0
