Had JJB card for more than a year. No credit limit increase (never asked for one) and the interest rate was 24.9% until this increase.

Silver card £1000 limit - currently 0% - but due to end Sept when it will be 24.9%

My world £1614 limit (why the odd amount, I have no idea) @ 22.9%

    Flybe £2600 limit @ 25.9% - My oldest sygma account - 21months.

All accounts managed well. I have never paid late or gone overlimit.
    £1,614 haha!!

That seems really strange they've only given you £250 @ 29.9 if your oldest account has £2,600 and you have £2,500+ on your other 2!!

That's a good collection there though, hopefully that'll be me eventually! I can just see the card coming through with £100 so then up to £190, then 30% of that so up to £250ish etc, so it'll take a lifetime to get a decent limit and prove myself internally!

    Hi everybody,
I read through this tread the last couple of days and thank you for your great advice on all Sygma CC related issues!
I have many CC, earn a decent wage (not that much) but all of them close to the end of credit- so I desperatly wanted a new one. I haven't applyed for one in about 12 months because I was fed up with being rejected!!! Oh, I have to also mention that my earning / credit facilty ratio is very bad- I think I owe about 2 times as much as my annual income (!). However there is no late / declined payments. After reading all your threads I thought that if any card will except me (except vanquis) that maybe this will be it! And guess what?
I have applied for the sygma Flybe card and got excpeted immediatly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never in a million years did I think that it will happen! Of course not sure how much is teh credit limit (£100 LOL) but I do get 2 free return flyte to Europe so Bob is your uncle! I have clerify that That I'm registered on the electorate, I have been living in the same address for 5 years+, been with the same bank 10 years+ and worked for the same company for 9 years +.
:A 'THANK YOU' YOU LOVELY PEOPLE OF THIS THREAD!!! :A

PS- Is it still possible that they will decline me in a couple of days? I'm nervous now...

If it said your application was accepted then this is what it means, if you give them a call they'll also tell you your credit limit & apr if you don't want to wait...

Yep, I called a short time ago (getting bored waiting for my mate!) they said I've got £200 @ 24.9%. Not too bad I suppose, considering I expected a rejection, but it'll be a lifetime to get up to a decent CL if they only ever give 30%, or can I speak to an underwriter and try and negotiate more? Like if I close my Cap1 will you give me £300 more rather than £90 or something like that?

Either way, at least I'm in the Sygma group now, hopefully they can accept me for a new card in a while....

No Sygma do not support Super Balance Transfers.

You can only do this with Egg or MBNA group cards.

My DAYS cash withdrawal apr is 22.9%, 16.9% standard apr and 10% promotional balance transfers, the best of all my cards so I do think they offer to a broad range of different people which is good.

Hi, I applied for a Silver card on the 11th August, and got the 7-10 days message.

Is it too late to call the underwriters on Monday?

I don't think that it would make any difference now....
