Sygma Bank Credit Cards

Sygma only checks Equifax and not Experian0

Sygma have increased the interest rate on my JJB card by a massive 5% from 24.9% to 29.9%
I run my accounts well - no overlimits or late payments, so this came as a surprise.
Credit limit on JJB card is my lowest = £250 , of which the current balance is around £200.
I am thinking of paying this off and closing the account. Any thoughts or ideas?
I would argue this due to the fact that whilst you understand the APR is variable, the summary box advertises the APR as variable between 16.9% APR and 24.9% APR and as such you feel they have breached their own terms.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Where is the summary box? I want to printscreen it incase they try any Capital One style tricks, but can't find it?0 -

In addition to the 29.9% standard rate, if I were so foolish as to withdraw cash, the rate on my JJB card would be 34.9%.0

And this is supposedly a prime card!0

 That's higher than what I'd pay with Capital One! I just want it to build up history within the Sygma group. Have you applied for others? Oh and the reward points or whatever they are, but they'll probably account for nothing unless I spend a small fortune. How long have you had the card?In addition to the 29.9% standard rate, if I were so foolish as to withdraw cash, the rate on my JJB card would be 34.9%.
Last time I was accepted for a card I cancelled my Natpest one and then they declined me (somehow) afterwards, so this time I'm waiting until I get the card in my hand before cancelling Capital One!0 -

Had JJB card for more than a year. No credit limit increase (never asked for one) and the interest rate was 24.9% until this increase.
Silver card £1000 limit - currently 0% - but due to end Sept when it will be 24.9%
My world £1614 limit (why the odd amount, I have no idea) @ 22.9%
Flybe £2600 limit @ 25.9% - My oldest sygma account - 21months.
All accounts managed well. I have never paid late or gone overlimit.0
