Isn't it going to depend on who the credit card is with as to whether this is treated as a cash advance?

Well despite me requesting a credit limit of £750 on my Silver card, they've increased it to £520 so it seems they'll continue to only increase by 30%, regardless of how much you enter in the box.

    Yea that's what I was wondering :(

I see on Sygma's site it says...

How long will it take to get a decision?
Every application is reviewed individually to ensure we approve as many applications as possible. You should expect to hear from us within 7 to 10 days after you submit your application to us.

That suggests manual approval of all of them, like some of the sub-prime companies, but then when you actually apply it's an instant decision unless you're borderline, so that's not "every application" :\

Ha, well I've just done a request, I want an iPad, as you know.

How did they notify you? E-mail?

I applied online to Sygma for the flybe card and instantly got declined , even though i have no adverse history on my credit report and got approved last month for capital one. So applied straight away with Vanquis and got accepted the next day via a phone call and then approved online with Aqua - i guess i didnt meet Sygma score on the application process? Good luck with your application
