Called Creation this morning and I have been given a limit of £2000 which is perfect for me as it will cover largely the 2 balance transfer requested at 0% for 15 months, also likely that I will get 30% increase after a few months like the others. Interest will be 16.9%

That is very good nice £2000 limit with 16.9% apr 0% 15 months can't be bad..

Thanks all, I did ask them if I was closing down the Silver would they be able to increase Creation card but they said no, can't do. I have £2000 on silver which am not using, so will close it down now.

    Hmmm, interesting - thanks :T :T

Did you fix errors on your credit file though, and did they ask you stuff or what? I'm presuming it would have accepted (automatically) had you waited the 6mth then?

I'm wondering if I should reapply (lol) just to test this method myself, see what they say (or will it still show my previously offered account I wonder , which would change things cos they could just re-agree to that account/agreement whatever)...?

Cheers for this info though - tis handy to know

Remember when I'd raised a Notice of Dispute against every single search on my EQ file?

It was after they'd all been closed and half of them had been removed - the only thing really keeping my score down - so I re-applied, they overrode the "duplicate" flag on the application - and bob's your auntie I waived bye bye to Sub Prime :D

Oh, and just for interests sake, I was approved for a current plus account with Natwest earlier in the month. Signed and returned. One day I get letter confirming a/c number, next one from AVU saying, err, actually, no. So you're not alone on that front :p Only searched EQ though...

Generally with Sygma you first get a full search then you always get a follow up from creation, all the same company but only the full search matters. You should have never applied within a week as with Sygma if declined the first time you would get normally an auto decline if re-applied within 6 months of first application. If they've declined you then I doubt very much that an appeal would get you very far...but you never know

So if you apply for one brand of their card and get declined, that automatically excludes you from applying for any other brand of Sygma card for 6 months?
Remember this: nothing worth doing is easy.

Yes I explained this in the first post - unless you already have a card, then you can apply after 3 months!

Why did AVU tell you to do one? What actually does this department do? Search the whole company and everything out too. Even after a credit search was done?

Lets keep avu and natpest away from here please guys - really not the relevant place for it.....

AVU basically is the last line of defence and they manually check all recently opened accounts that have been referred.

don;t ask i must be losing the plot, first of all i applied for my world because my mate got the card 3 weeks ago with a credit limit of £3000,so thought i would try my luck there hoping for the same limit has him, then i went on barclaycard let me choose pre application so i came up with platinum 70/80% being accepted and barclaycard gold 80/90% being accepted,so applied for both of them..

    And the outcome was?????
