I am now very curious to know what kind of limit I will get with Sygma Creation credit card knowing what I already have 2 of their cards but I noticed that Creation is probably the only one setting a minimum age of 25 and minimum income of £20000....

Stephane i think you will get a good credit limit with the new creation card, around 4k-5k..
As for barclays if they try send me an initial card through the post,it will go straight in the bin..

I don't think that I will get that much, unfortunately I have far too much available credit which I don't use & should have thought of closing down some beforehand but we will see, anyway am not looking & certainly don't need much just enough to cover the 2 balance transfer requested.

For the Initial card I was just saying that as an example, I doubt very much that they would give you that card. It's simple you'll either get the gold or platinum or none of them...

I applied for a Silver on the 11th June (declined) and Flybe on 17th June (declined). Anyone know of a reason why Sygma would perform 2 additional "Subsequent (or additional) enquiry"s on the 18th June shown in Table 2?

Would they be searches by a human and could still be accepted? (It's a week later now so probably not). Would it be worth phoning them?

There were no subsequent searches after the Silver application, just the Flybe.
Remember this: nothing worth doing is easy.

Generally with Sygma you first get a full search then you always get a follow up from creation, all the same company but only the full search matters. You should have never applied within a week as with Sygma if declined the first time you would get normally an auto decline if re-applied within 6 months of first application. If they've declined you then I doubt very much that an appeal would get you very far...but you never know

EDIT: Subsequent applications within six months of being declined, as a new customer, flag up as a "Duplicate".

This can be overridden by the applications team with the consent of a Team Manager.

The day I was approved for my first Sygma card, I was given the 7-10 days for a response online, so I called, the lady said "Have you applied recentlt", I advised "Yes, but I've fixed some errors on my credit file"... She say "Oh it's flagged up as a duplicate, hold on while I speak to my manager"... "Well sir I'm pleased to say"... etc

    Hmmm, interesting - thanks :T :T

Did you fix errors on your credit file though, and did they ask you stuff or what? I'm presuming it would have accepted (automatically) had you waited the 6mth then?

I'm wondering if I should reapply (lol) just to test this method myself, see what they say (or will it still show my previously offered account I wonder , which would change things cos they could just re-agree to that account/agreement whatever)...?

Cheers for this info though - tis handy to know

    Any ideas on the above?

No it doesn't score differently - the way credit works is you're given a risk per rate which means the rate and limit offered will depend on you and your credit liabilities/history etc..... :D

No mate it doesn't work like that - you must wait 6 months per application, but see what iZools has stated above, apparently they show as duplicates and can be overridden or something..... :D
