Lloyds are crap then! What type of account? Classic, Silver, Gold etc

I applied in the Shrewsbury High Street branch (well i applied over the phone, but completed it in Town)

    How about yourself?
HSBC i had applied online in feb (think topcashback had a cashback deal on at the time) got declined but never went into branch to try and get it overridden.

Went into branch this time to apply used all the details from online app no credit search this time at all.(unless on Call credit) and had to show identification for account

Funny thing is i went into RBS the same day to apply for account and basically had the person try and tell me that i had adverse on my file due to ME checking my file So i put her in her place and never went back

Come to think of it i'm gonna ask equifax to remove that search.

    They are talking utter rubbish!!

Nothing surprises me about RBS, I hate that group Natwest etc. I had a step account with Natwest for many years, they wouldn't "upgrade it" I never went overdrawn or anything, but one day I went into the branch and they upgraded it on the bank office to an advantaged Gold, anyway I got home and they had left me a message saying they could upgrade it. To cut a long story short they paid me compensation of £50 for the mix up!! I hate them!!

Those searches you make when they produce a file can't be seen by a lender. Total bol*ocks!!

    Did RBS decline you?

I did a posting about applying for the Accessory card last week, I applied online but got we'll let you know response. Today got a letter off them asking me to sign the agreement and get it sent back. It also says I've got 3 months interest free, 20% off an order with JD Williams. When I get the card I can ring this number with my name, address and they'll send me £15 of M&S vouchers. Does the accessory card offer a lesser credit limit, is it scored the same as the silver/flybe?

    Any ideas on the above?

Surely if you can shift money away from a 60% card to one with a much lower limit it is worth doing so?

Hopefully come 21st December Sygma will say yes this time and I can ditch Vanquis and Cap One both at the same time. I pay these off in full each month but the limits are very restrictive.
Remember this: nothing worth doing is easy.

You went wild....why did you not apply for the creation card instead of my world? Why 2 Barclaycard at same time, you're going to arise suspicion...

don;t ask i must be losing the plot, first of all i applied for my world because my mate got the card 3 weeks ago with a credit limit of £3000,so thought i would try my luck there hoping for the same limit has him, then i went on barclaycard let me choose pre application so i came up with platinum 70/80% being accepted and barclaycard gold 80/90% being accepted,so applied for both of them..

If you give Barclaycard a call tomorrow they should be able to tell you straight way if accepted but I know am repeating myself but you should never have applied for both Barclaycard at same time as pre-application check just tell you what you're likely to be accepted for and it is only once you fill in the full application that they decide which one is the most suitable for you, so they might say you're likely 70% gold but you end up with their Initial card....
