That's what I was told by the first advisor I spoke to last week but the second confirmed it's the other way around - three months for first - four for subsequent increases.
yes can confirm that there is actually a training error as have just had my limit increased after speaking to a 3rd advisor.

Lodged complaint about misguided and wrong advice so hopefully there shalnt be anymore problems like this again.

Sutton fancy trying to up our limits in 4 months time and then every 4 months from now?

Yup, no problem, have you got yours increased then?

I want a second card but i got declined back in May. I may try for The Accessary card next because the APR is higher so I may have more luck in getting that one. :)

I don't think I'll get a limit uplift in four months time as I'm moving in September so chances are won't be on the ER until January what with Christmas update delays... :(

But I'll apply for my Third sygma card (probs Flybe) just as I'm about to move out :o

Good luck with your next app, kilasuit

    lol

Probably best because you applied for the silvercard the day before I did and we were both successful! Also we've both applied for HSBC accounts, and we're both successful there tool!

You should try Lloyds TSB see what you get there :)

    Congratulations!

Remember though that you can't transfer your Silver or Flybe balances as they are all from the same company - unless you "buny hop" the via another card that isn't part of creation / sygma - however doing this will incur two lots of balance transfer fees :o

Do let us know what sort of limit you get. Do you mind my asking how old you are / what your income is?

Just planning to pay off the Flybe card with a straight forward payment not a balance transfer & it is only for £700 so not worth paying fee. I may give them a call tomorrow and ask if balance transfer requested will go through & ask for limit at same time, they should be able to tell me. As for your other question, am 40:o and my annual income vary but on average it is just under the £40,000 mark....

£2000 O/D (£1500 min charges) not reporting to CRAs and i've taken them to FOS about the excessive O/D charges on my account after dealing with their incompetent complaints handlers.

HSBC did you go in branch to apply?

I've had that account since i was 13 when i lived in scotland. Allowed a £50 o/d when i got my visa debit card at 16 YES 16! was a u19 account but upgraded to classic for my 18th april 08 £200 O/D accepted there and then and then June 23rd 08 increased O/D to £400 and lost job i had at the time in Comet 4 days before that but still they allowed it and then moved everything to halifax on the 1st july 08

Not had a single penny paid into that account over than from my mum etc.

As regards to "Added Value" Accounts F**K em IMHO
