Ah, i see! Do you know what adverse information from Equifax is? Or is this something out of the blue for you? I hate those monthly feeds from CRA's. Will it alert lenders if you have even missed a single payment and use that as a justifcation for refusing credit?0
-
Why don't you check your Equifax report....are you aware of anything that FD might not like?0

I had my hsbc credit search removed a few months ago but it is still appearing on my callcredit file. I have wrote to HSBC requesting them to remove it, but 3 weeks on, it is still there!
Might report them for breach of DPA 98.
Thanks Tom!
What annoys me is the fact I've gone through as this with Cabot over 12 months ago, why they just can't do their jobs properly God knows!! If we pay late they're so damn quick in writting to you.
Did HSBC full or Soft search you,for your credit card and OD? I believe it's soft isn't it?0 -

Yes i do remember you had problems dealing with Cabot. These muppets should get the kick up the backside and get their job well done!!!
HSBC always do a HARD credit search mate, for whatever you apply for...credit card, credit limit increase, loan, bank accounts etc.
I have two hard searches both for Credit card application (instant approved at branch and credit limit increase request a day later). Both searched with Experian and Callcredit.0 -

Still think the cap progress is a waste of time though TBH,it means you now have to wait until 2012 for them to decrease your apr to 19.9% apr,but basically if you keep your report in order within the next 12 months you could apply for a card with a better apr than 19.9% anyhow..0
