I have been GRILLED!
Is that for your credit card....I thought you just got it?0 -
I have been GRILLED when applying for a HSBC credit card in branch back in May. It was almost like an interview. But at the same time, HSBC do have responsibilties in ensuring each credit card issued is to the right person who is creditworthy, in employment and of course salary mandated to the account among other things. I rather have a lender who ask questions making sure i can afford it, rather than giving easy credit away. Looks like the HSBC group do have same procedures for HSBC and FD customers when asking for credit products/additional lending requests.0

No credit search. This was not a system decision it was made by the advisor! I am going to SAR FD as she said that FD had received "adverse information" from Equifax in the monthly feed.Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500
