    Why don't you apply then? It is issued by MBNA pursuant to a licence from American Express.

    I was declined an MBNA last time I tried, plus I'm already collecting miles on my Lloyds AMEX.

    Comparing to Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo, this card actually is the best card on the market in terms of collecting airmiles over time. I do travel quite a bit.

    I am also going to take advantage of money transfer of £1K to my bank account and repay that end of June 2011. Obviously i will have to pay a 4% fee (£40 quid). I will treat it as a loan and repay it back within 12 months.

    Got a text from vanquis this morning saying they would call this afternoon, but I've got a driving lesson and a dentist appointment so won't be available.
    Is this text a good or bad sign? :).
