    Did you try for an overdraft online too? Maybe worth a shot, because they wouldn't upgrade you to Gold if you still had that CPD surely.

    Don't blame you. You farted around enough with those Muppet's. If it was me, I'd make sure it was taken off on principle, because they promised they would.

    I think I'm going to wait for the Gold debit card to arrive and then downgrade back to Classic :p

    Mobile insurance might be good value from LTSB but I feel loathed to buy any services from them when they treat me like a deadbeat skint flint who always incurres charges and spends more time over their overdraft limit than in credit :mad: Maybe I should run my account more sloppily and they'll lift the CPD?

    Haha, they've given me 2 full accounts though, A&L are shocking by the sounds of it and Halifax don't want to take me.

    If I wait until the start of next year I could probably get away with applying for 2 on the same day... Natwest normal card and if they decline me then go for Halifax current account (to build up an internal rating there)
