Your income means nothing when speaking sub-prime and if it is a starter card like the Crappy1 Initial or whatever then it's the fact of getting on the credit ladder, not the actual limit.
Proliant has various other mainstream credit and this is incorrect for him to be given a starter card with limit like that, I think you're mis-interpreting the point somewhat :cool:2010 - year of the troll

I am not saying that their approach to Proliant CC limit is acceptable.
I think they are generally giving low limits for the start being and it is not about me or Proliant.
I suppose that in 4-5 months they will raise the limit up.
So you can either wait or complain.
As a matter of fact I have an arranged overdarft of 1000, but again I don't think they really take it into account.0 -

Oh I agree, i'm merely saying (from experience) that they always start you on a "starter limit" if you're a nebie to them with any adverse, past or present. It seems Crappy1 are one of the few to do this, especially when Sygma give more.
Proliant would have been better waiting 3mth then using the Crappy1 search for a second Sygma card which gives a start of £1000. Crappy1 should be avoided at all costs really, it seems they try and give you a funky card to show status, but the limit sometimes isn't enough to do a weekly shop so why even bother with them?
O/D's do not show on credit reports so these are not taken into account, plus they are "On Demand" credit meaning they are designed for short term, only if you're actually overdrawn will it be taken into account as it will show a balance on the CAIS/Insight monthly feed.2010 - year of the troll

I have access to my credit report and I see the amount of overdraft and that I was overdrawn at the date the entry was obtained.
As far as I am aware, some companies, inlcuding Halifax and Capital One are exchanging far more information between each other regarding customers than normally thought - the ammount that you pay, have you paid in full, etc.0 -

Capital One gave me a pretty decent limit at the time when I applied with 3 defaults. £1000 but I have only ever had one increase to £1500.0
