Anyone getting 'service unavailabe' on sygma online.

Normally happens when they are producing a statement. Does with me, anyhow :o

!!!!ing Lloyds TSB cracks me up - now I can upgrade to Platinum account again if I want and my risk score is 4 this month!

It's more up and down than a Next account credit limit :rotfl:

Since I closed my Natpest Student Credit Card I've been bombarded with messages about it. How long is it until I can reapply for a normal card? Not getting that student joke again, I thought it was 6 months but that's really weird if they are then showing offers to me now.... Could I have been preapproved or something based on internal data (I'm putting loads of money into that account and Halifax Reward one) so don't need to wait 6 months?

I think I closed it on 2nd July (I know I was denied a credit limit increase on 1st July because I took a pritnscreen, pretty sure I closed it the day after)

woohoo, I finally got accepted for Capital One, and although some of you may think its not that great, this is the third time I have applied, and they have rejected me twice, so is this a sign I am moving in the right direction? hehe I'm kinda axcited :-)

Well surely that is a good thing?

Why dont you apply for a credit card?

I just spoke to them and they have increased my overdraft from £150 to £250 and upgraded my account to a "Platinum" account for half price. They said I could have Premier but I wouldn't reap any of the benefits.

The lady said I now have a £2,850 pre-approved limit for an Overdraft, but a £0 limit for Credit Cards and Loans.

So if I wanted to increase my OD limit to £2,850 I could effectively put my credit card balances on it and only pay 12.9% APR, but i wont because I would effectively be permanently overdrawn for six to nine months whilst I clear the balances.

So I won't be doing that or the CPD marker will be right back on there (Probably).

It does bewilder me that the credit marker and risk marker fluctuate so much month on month, it really is like Next Catalogue.

Ah well, happy days :D Life Accomplishment Unlocked: One rung further up the credit ladder :j No need to move to HSBC after all. Good.

It makes so little sense that one month I have a risk score of 9/9, a Credit Policy Decline marker, and £0 limits on all credit products and within the space of a week I now have a risk score 3/9, no Credit Policy Decline marker, and £2,850 pre-approved limit on Overdrafts.

Nothing has changed in respect to account conduct or my credit file. Bonkers. Next month I'll probably have £0 limits again :p
