I applied for Barclaycard and Sygma Silver ten days ago, approved for Barclaycard initial (£800 limit with 6.9% balance transfer offer) but have heard nothing at all from Sygma.

Is that a good or bad sign?

Did not know barclaycard initial(credit building card) does 6.9% LOB

Nor did I, but when I registered for online account management, in the 'balance transfer' section there was the offer, 6.9% for the life of the transfer, up to £715, too good to pass up.

As for Sygma, the "7-10 days" is up!

I have closed today my JD Williams account. Two credit cards, two full bank accounts, two mobile contracts and a store card are enough reporting for my credit file. Aren't they?

I have also made the last payment to my cashplus creditbuilder so I expect two settled accounts to be shown on my credit file soon.

Since I now have the two full bank accounts I wanted to get, I'll focus my applications on getting prime credit cards. HSBC credit card will be the first in six months and then I'll try Halifax Clarity when my Aqua is 18 months old.

Has anyone been accepted by Halifax based on their Aqua card conduct? I do know the underwriters are the same for both cards.

Oh, I forgot, there is also a Natwest step account I will keep as a backup account and also because I have an e-ISA with Natwest. The good thing about this basic account is that it is reported to CRAs as a full bank account.

Is anyone else having problems ordering from Littlewoods? I've spent the best part of 40 minutes adding loads of sh*t to my basket only to get an error at checkout saying 'There is an error committing this order' and it bloody clears my basket!!!

why not use one of ure credit cards to buy the same items? bearing in mind ALL littlewoods prices are marked up with about 50% or equivelent interest anyway?

I have too much on the credit cards just now so a family member has kindly offered to let me use their Littlewoods.

On another subject, Sygma's online banking website is offline at the moment. Could they be upgrading the website at this very moment? Let's hope so.
