CPD = Credit Policy Decline = Lloyds TSB Computer generated marker meaning "No Credit for this customer"
It comes up on the personal bankers screen when they open your account if your customer profile has been barred from taking out credit products with the bank. I've seen it on their screen myself and even if you have set limits, a CPD means you can't access them.
No one told me this, I saw it for myself on the personal bankers computers. One screen showed a £1,600 Authorized overdraft limit (this was May) but the personal banker couldn't increase my limit to even £250 because another screen showed a CPD. The screen that showed the £1,600 limit also showed a risk score of 4 (at the time) but them trying to click through the increased overdraft caused a message to pop up "Credit Policy Decline = 99" and threw them back to my account summary screen.
That is now gone as I've been able to set my OD at £250 via my online banking.
You know the rest, just trash spouted by phone monkeys making it up as they go along.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Yea it's a good thing I think. They aren't the best company, but it helps to move onNovember 2009 I was getting rejected from everything but Natpest, then Capital One took me and now I'm in the little Sygma group!
Just got my card through, I have a 10% promotion purchase rate, but it doesn't say what the terms areWon't be using it anyway on £200!

Been lurking here for a while, thought gathering mostly, but enjoying the little morsals of advice, and help you lot seem to offer one another. Had a few financial problems of my own (not my making) and still do in a way (cant say too much at the moment) but I do have a vanquis card (£500 limit so far) and a Halifax one (£500 limit too)
Does Halifax one count as sub prime? it only caries a 16.9% apr, so im wondering if Iv began to join the 'Normal' club again.3 defaults removed,, 1 judgment set aside
No debt - 1 mainstream card
Getting back on the financial radar0 -
Halifax is not subprime, no.0
