Could have been worse - the flag could have been shoved up their exhaust pipe - when they weren't in the car!0

Park at the far end of the carpark and in two spaces, problem solved....
Yeah i've had busybodies tell me off, but I respond with a "when people get some respect for others property i'll happily park in one space!"“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

That's fine so long as it's the far end of the car park and the car park isn't completely full, but it's no guarantee of safety.
Before I moved to Wales, I wouldn't even consider parking at the far end as the local chavs had invented this game where they use some crappy old (possibly stolen) car to launch trolleys across the car park and see if they could hit the expensive cars.
They usually missed, but when they score a hit I'd imagine it would do quite a lot of damage.
Quite why the CCTV operator never bothered to report them or anything I have no idea. Maybe he now works for FIFA as a referee?0 -

I just park my knackered old van as close as possible to the extra space used up by the 'my cars worth so much I can use two spaces' squad.
I've been fortunate enough to have some fairly expensive cars but I'd never use up two spaces. It just makes you look full of self importance. There's always someone with a better car round the corner.0 -

I don't have an expensive or important car.... I simply don't want to come back and find some f*ckwit has reversed out of a space and run his/her bumper down all four side panels.
They don't make spaces big enough for modern cars anyway....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

We usually shop online, its a dent free experience. For the sake of a few pounds delivery( sometimes its free) it takes away the hassle of it all.
On the occasions I do go to the supermarket its usually with my 3 year old and its annoying when someone takes the P&C space when they don't have children with them. Its hardly the crime of the century but the spaces are as big as they are and where they are for a reason and its not to stop your doors getting dinged by some inconsiderate muppet.0 -

Im not the vindictive out of jealousy type - but when you see a nice car parked over two spaces, I think it draws attention to the very fact you dont want it damaged. Some miscreants would take a delight in keying it for this very reason.0 -

My point exactly, and if you do it with a car that isn't even anything special it just makes people wonder why you need special treatment or that you just can't park. I think it encourages trouble. It does from my van anyway! I'll get it in any space, even when someone's decided they're better than me and parked in two!0 -
I take 2 spaces because I need them, the school run mums who we all know are above the normal rules of the road, will have taken all the DA spaces
;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
