If there are no triple spaces available, I try to park next to a brand new car in the hope that, like me, they are careful not to get scratched.

The trolley could have been caught by a gust of wind then hit your car, im saying its possible but you were there so you are the only 1 to determine whether that was possible. What do you expect when people are lazy with the trolleys, i long for the day all supermarkets have the £1 lock system on the trolleys then people may be more responsible

The idea is to claim from the parent of the child, who is responsible.
The victim of the trolley dent can sue the parent directly using legal assistance, or go through the insurance company.

Leaving the scene refusing to exchange details is obviously an offence.

    Good luck with that one.

Ok, now we've got way off topic I'll chuck in a couple.

At our local asda the DA and P&C spaces are back to back so to speak ie close together. I have a blue badge. On particular time I parked in a P&C spot because all the DA places were taken. The woman that followed me in gave me a right mouthfull because I hads taken her spot:eek:, yes she got one back.

The local coop has its only £ DA spaces right outside the main entrance. There are no P&C spaces. Now not only are they the most "dangerous" spots to place your car as every single shopper pushes theirb trolley through those 2 gaps, but you get a rollicking off shoppers for opening your door wide as they can then not get through:mad::mad:. This is of course irellevant to DA parkers as these 3 spaces are always taken by P&C cars. This is all in a car park taking at least 150 cars.

At the same coop I had been shopping and was in the filling station. An almighty squal was blowing up. Now the car park and trolley stations are up a steep rise off the main road. As I was waiting to pay a trolley "broke away" and ran down this rise, hit a car waiting to turn right into the coop and was in turn hit by the a car travelling in the opposite direction. Quite a mess and I often wonder what the outcome was, the claims form would have made interesting reading ;);)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Hadn't thought that new cars might be hire cars. Who would hire a brand new car to go to Tesco in?

I can't tell if they're hire cars but I can spot the stupid drivers. They helpfully put two small white flags with red crosses on each side of the car to warn me. ;)

On Radio 4 a couple of weeks ago I heard the story of the couple who, in the interest of showing solidarity with all the World Cup teams, displayed a South Africa flag on their car.

They came out a few days later to find the flag had been snapped off and shoved up the exhaust pipe.

    Ouch! :D
