We are not asking the supermarket to pay for anything,
just want to check the CCTV footage, so we can report the perpetrator to the police or insurance company.
They just can't be bothered to help.0 -
That's why I try to get my shopping as early as possible on my day off! I'm usually over Bloomfields Shopping center for 0830hrs on pay day so I dont have to worry about parking, queue's at the checkouts & as a bonus,I usually get the fresh product fresh & unmolested, having just been put on the shelves the night before.
Although I do have a few scrapes along the front & rear bumper of the car,but nothing coloured T-Cut wone remove.0 -
When my sister was younger, she accidentally caught a car with the shopping trolley while the owner was there. The owner wanted my mums car insurance details and was adamant she could claim for the damage caused by a 9 year old pushing a trolley.0

Cover your car in crap, a few go faster stripes, leave a shell suit 'angin' out' the door, tax in post in the screen, get a wayne and waynetta sunshield for the screen, an't jobs a goodun.
No one would park their car next to that :money:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

I wasnt blaming the supermarket, town centre or the people who operate the car park, I knew it was doubtful i would get anywhere or proving who it was that did the damage anyway! Its just a rant that people dont take care with their trolly's and the amount of damage
Its not worth going through my insurance due to being a young driver and how much it would cost me anywayMake £10 a day Challenge June - £1700 -
I've always kept a "spare" car on the go in addition to our two nice cars. We're both dependent on our cars so the spare is necessary if one breaks down or is in for a service etc.
The spare is usually some old banger estate car. Volvo 940, VW Passat etc. etc.
It goes out once a week for the Tesco run specifically to keep damage off the good cars, you can park it right by the main entrance and not have to worry. The 940 is particularly good for this because it's so solid that the other person bears the brunt of the damage if they drive into it.
So nice not to have to worry about coming back to a ruined car.0 -

The idea is to claim from the parent of the child, who is responsible.
The victim of the trolley dent can sue the parent directly using legal assistance, or go through the insurance company.
Leaving the scene refusing to exchange details is obviously an offence.0 -
