    Hi MW :hello:

Just found your inspiring and entertaining diary! Hopefully I can pick up some tips in the coming months when I'm finally DF and can start attacking the mortgage.

Hope you get a solution at your neurology appt - sounds like the migraines are horrendous. Take care :)

    Hi mw,

I'm glad that you've been to the doctor and hopefully they'll get to the bottom of your migraines soon. The quick hospital date sounds very promising. Well done NHS :j

I hope that all your FD paperwork goes through ok - we completed on our mortgage yesterday! It's a little bit scary logging in and seeing an account where we owe so much, but I'm hoping that will turn to motivation as I see the number decrease.

Good luck with the decorating and general house stuff!

    Rach x

It all sounds really good MW. the Farrow and Ball paint is worth it, remember my Dulux duck egg nightmare! I am pleased that you don't have to wait too long for your appointment.

Have you done any crochet yet?

Hi macgirl :hello:, glad you found my diary, although not sure about the inspiring and entertaining bit - at the moment it seems more of a catalogue of health complaints :o, but hopefully with the new mortgage in place that will change and I will be able to actually make some mortgage OPs! Glad to hear you'll be joining us in attacking the mortgage - the way you've tackled your debt has been incredible.

Glad to hear rachel your FD mortgage is all set up now - and your New York holiday sounds fab! Quite envious, not been there for a few years now. I can't wait to be able to see my mortgage account online, I think that will be really motivating to see the impact of my savings :D.

toots, totally agree F&B paint is worth the extra, learnt this from last time we decorated. We now have french gray in the master spare room, borrowed light (I think) for the spare back room, and elephant's breath for the hallway. OH has finished the walls in the main loft room, and ceilings, so just woodwork in there. Is the blue any easier to live with yet? And good luck for the move back, you must be so excited! No crochet as yet :o, I have looked at some books but got a bit confused, so kind of waiting for the course in March for someone to show me. Although I have done no crafty stuff as yet, so may have to tackle it sooner rather than later!

Another day, another migraine :(, felt dizzy and tired all day but by the time got home had some tell tale pain at the back of my head. Took one of my new tablets, which just made my ears ring and me feel dizzy. OH took DD swimming, I've just had 4 hours in bed with the radio on low and the duvet over my head, staring into space. Not really convinced I'm feeling much better.

  • Oh mw sorry the migraines are so often right now , that sucks :(
glad OH supportive and lets hope you get some answers/solutions from the neurologist! you are doing fab to still be functioning as well as you are as they sound horribly debilitating ...
on the positive sides looking forward to see how you get on with FD mortgage...i think it would raise my levels of obsession to new heights if I could see how much I owed all the time!

  • Do you think they might be stress related? You definitely had less when you had time off over christmas.

It must be so frustrating. hope it all goes well at the hospital and it gets sorted. Not too long to wait.
