Hi mw,
Try not to worry about the argument with your DD. I'm sure that she understands that you're not feeling well and you must have been tired from waking up so early.
I thought I'd let you know that all was good with our FD valuation. When the surveyor came round he even asked DH if the value that we'd put down was important in terms of the LTV and he then left telling us that he expected it to go smoothly. He really appreciated the details that I'd left of the most recent house to sell though, so if there is anything like yours that you can find then it might be helpful. I got a text from FD yesterday confirming that they'd received the report too and that the LTV falls within their lending criteria.
I hope that you have a better day today, and well done for taking steps to get it sorted.

Thanks for all the positive messages
.
DD has indeed forgiven me, as you said CathT - it takes us a lot longer as a parent to get over it and forgive myself.
Today I apologised properly and said I was angry, it is ok to be angry but not to behave the way that I did and I am going to special parenting classes on anger management to learn how to deal with it better. She wanted to know if she could come too! I bought her a chocolate owl from Hope and Greenwood the sweet shop (75p), and have promised her a special visit there later in the spring as part of a girly day out together.
I got a place on the free anger management course for parents run by the local council in June, and also for the relaxation course too which starts I think March. I WILL be a zen parent.
tyo did 7 weeks of acupuncture, was due to go once every 2-3 weeks after but the college which ran the clinic went bust :eek:. It was a big commitment for me, every Sunday, took up about 4 hours with travelling. I think it did help, but not sure if it helped enough to pay full price (£50-60) a session, iyswim. The other place I was thinking of trying a student clinic has also gone bust :eek: :eek:! Plus my phobia of needles hasn't diminished - I built up a really good rapport with my practicioner, and bit nervous about starting again elsewhere. Saying that, there is a clinic about 10 min walk away, where OH does pilates. He is going to ask how much it is and whether we can do it in the evenings. That would make it easier for me, I would definitely consider it.
rach so pleased to hear your valuation went ok. Am a bit worried about the fact that ours will apparently be done from a car so we won't be able to meet the valuator, but I'm sure it will work out one way or the other. Worked out we could get to £293K valuation and still qualify for rate based on LTV. If it is valued lower, we do have a couple of grand we could pay off the mortgage if that would help lower the LTV. One step at a time - still waiting for blinking bank statements :mad:.
Schwim today, and play in pool with DD afterwards, she was giving me piggy backs in the water and squealing with laughter about it! Dinner is fish curry out of freezer. Have done 2 washloads and now about to put away the other 3 that are hanging around our bedroom.
I have a few to dos I would like to do over the next few days, will record here for added motivation:
* email friend back from UAE
* email friend back re:dinner dates in feb
* call friend back re: sat eve (I can't go!)
* call sister
* DD to write Xmas thank you notes (bought pack of 20 for £2.75 from paperchase yesterday, have NO excuse!)
* declutter 1/2 hour
* exercise tomorrow nightMortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Hey mw
Agree it definitely takes longer for parents to forgive themselves! bless DD wanting to come along with you to the classes
Swim sounds good (and fun!) and good luck on the FD valuation will keep fingers crossed.... I am worried about rate rises as I dont have enough I dont think to fix a BTL on my place...although I may check that out at the weekend!
Good luck on finding out more about the accupuncture - yeah it is expensive (Im lucky in "only" paying £40 a session) ...would it be cheaper for you to go slightly out of london for it? (may not be with travel /time costs!) hope your drs appt goes okay too , it is so frustrating when our health stops us doing things we want to do!
well done on the exercise- you will be glad to know I am back on the wagon! :rotfl: did a session on the bike last night and felt good for it ! (though did fall asleep halfway through film we were watching and was in bed by 9.30 ....very tired this week!)0 -

I think that an external valuation means that they're quite confident that you will fit the LTV criteria though... and at least you don't need to make sure your house is tidy lol (can you tell that I'm very messy!?).
It's quite freaky though as our lower limit was also £293k! If you hadn't described your house to me I'd think we might live in the same place0 -
Had worst migraine in a long time today at work - ended up in taxi home. The only good things I can say is that work paid for the car, and colleague came with me and played with DD whilst I laid down. Worst is over, but feel wrung out. I have decluttered the drugs and vitamins cabinet in the bathroom, chucked out about 20 bottles and boxes. Am going to eat something then go to bed. MW, I am so sorry that you have started the cluster migraines again. You need that Drs appointment, they can give you pain killers that will break the cycle which is fundamental. I hope you feel better tomorrow.0

Thanks again all, I started to feel dizzy after meeting so came home early. Not sure if I've ever explained my 'aura' but I get double vision and extremely faint and confused, often before the headache pain of a migraine. I took some migraleve and headed straight home rather than go to work. My head is aching now, I have sore tummy and My vision is playing up a bit but I don't feel panicked and have been able to read a bit of the forums. Sometimes like yesterday i can only lie in darkness and near silence, other times like today I can do something mind numbing that helps distract me from what is going on in my head. Luckily I can touch type so not too hard to post when vision blurry! Was hoping to sleep but had builders come round unexpectedly, had to let them in and try and exlain what needed doing, they have fixed now but means not enough time for nap.
I have the dotors appointment in an hour :j, am going to talk about tummy and migraines and ask for referral and also for something strong to deal with the migraines in the meantime.
Before migraine, I downloaded an app to my android phone, Karl's mortgage calculator I think it was called. It shows effect of OPs, and was free, so I now can be even more of an addict than usual :rotfl:! I have joined onepoll and done a few surveys which I was screened out of, but a few points anyway.
Tonight to do (depending on health):
* [STRIKE]doctors appointment[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]pick up DD (OH driving back from birmingham , may mean I have to walk not being able to see properly which I HATE!)[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]check menu for tomorrow;s meal online and preorder[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]speak to FD to check ok to hold on for bank statements[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]pack for weekend away[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]make pasta bake[/STRIKE]
* iron dd;s coat and [STRIKE]put lining back in[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]watch lovefilm[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]apply for refund from TFL for late tube today[/STRIKE]Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Doctor's appointment went ok, have urgent referral to neurology clinic and 6 super migraine tablets - can't remember their name but will post next time. Took one and after 1/2 hours nap my double vision has cleared
. OH got home just in time to take me to doctors and pick up DD, which was great as I really couldn't see very well. He also cooked tea, what a darling. We are about to watch the film, and pack after.
Found out FD couldn't wait for paperwork as would have missed out on fee free offer :eek:! Just spent last hour completing paperwork and checking we had everything we could, put note on regarding the missing items. Need to get to PO to send special delivery tomorrow morning. Will be SOOO glad once this application is done! Glad I did call and check though as otherwise we would have had to pay hundreds for valuation and arrangement fee.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89
