I think he's given up - I miss him, he makes us all laugh! Sad, sad, sad little PPC troll.

You have still not told us what PPC you are working for. Why the bashfulness? Are you ashamed?

"Ordinary, decent people" would never work for a PPC.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Oh you're back with another rubbish sound bite that makes no sense whatsoever.

Do you know you sound very much like another PPC troll, CommonSenseClive?!

Why would a legitimate enforcement agency be trying to con you?

If you have received a ticket, it is for a good reason.

Hmm...that's not exactly what a Judge said in Court yesterday - he realised who was trying to con who!

OPC, a typically-academically-challenged PPC, tried to scam a motorist with fake Court papers and then a real Small Claim - and of course OPC lost spectacularly yet again, with ongoing repercussions for themselves and their 'debt collector' alter ego Windsor Smyth! :D

Just to let you all know that OPC did not win against me this morning in Dartford County Court. Something rather momentous has happened and I will post further info over the weekend.

    More news from court today:

    • 27 Ingress Park cases submitted by OPC.
    • All cases 'stayed' for 3 months whilst the judge examines further evidence and the working relationships between Crest Nicholson, Peverel/ Consort, OPC, and the residents.
    • Fake court papers have resulted in Windsor Smyth being reported by the judge with intention of them being "prosecuted to the full extent of the law."
    • One test case will decide the outcome of all 27 cases.

I will state again, for anyone new and unaware, ignore any private car parking 'tickets' which are in fact unenforceable invoices which have no law on there side!!

Simply ignore any letters from them and these people will go away in the end :)

TROLL?? where ya gettin that from? lol, they do actually own that land go check it out, that company as a whole own it...

go away? ive as much right to be here as you..stating my opinion to someone who has asked about something on a forum..!! so i am entitled to my say too just like you!

at the end of the day you cant expext to not pay your ticket because you failed to not see signs, you have eyes in ya head why not use them, and to say theres no signs about THERES ONE RIGHT OUTSIDE ARGOS FRONT DOOR!!! argos, boots, hobbycraft etc DO NOT OWN THE LAND AND DO NOT PROVIDE FREE PARKING! and it is not out of town, the carpark is right next to all the shops it is on the edge of town but not out of town, why should excel provide free parking for the whole of stockport town centre?? the details of the price of ticket that will be issued is clearly stated on all signs before you leave your car there so to then asume you dont have to pay it cause you didnt get a ticket as you mistakenly didnt (somehow) notice the signs and its "no fair" aint right...

I hate having to pay for these car park tickets too dont get me wrong but i dont think its right that people like this should just say "oh well, sack it" when it comes to a problem they have caused!

excel if they wanted could charge you £300 if you over stay or not get a ticket thats their choice, so these are the rules you would have to abide by when leavin ya car there.

plus the fact what the hell is 50 nowadays?? thats all it costs for a ticket and ya not tellin me this was the first time in peel centre if you live not far away...

you probably went on a sunday and presumed it was a free parking day!

I have recently had a ticket for not paying and displaying on this car park in Stockport. I don't want to get into any arguments about people's intelligence and ability to read, however I arrived on a sunny afternoon on my first visit to the retail park with three friends all with perfect vision, and none of us realised that it was a pay and display car park.

I agree that it is up to the driver to understand the regulations of where they park, however the signs are not sufficient. Somebody mentioned there are over 60 of them? There could have been 1000 and it wouldn't have made any difference, the text is illegible from any distance over 2 metres away, never mind while driving. As for the pay machines, I saw two in the distance after receiving my ticket.

The bottom line is, yes, I would be fine with paying 50p for two hours, but if it is not clear that this is the case, then it is ridiculous to charge £60-£100 as a 'penalty'. My local Tesco Express has signs in front of every bay explaining clearly that there are 30 minutes free, and anything over that will incur a charge of £70. Costly, but at least the font is larger than a size 10.

I'm not paying it, by the way.

I doubt even that Tesco charge would be deemed to be reasonable, as it does not represent the actual loss suffered by the landowner.
