I've said three times before ring ACAS other posters have kindly put links to website but you really must ring them and explain the situation in full. Both of you sit down today and write an account of the whole situation together with questions you require answers to. If your husband cannot ring them Monday then you ring for him and read out the statement you have made then ask their advice. You seem to be relying on advice from what the Boss and his Accountant say, you need independent advice. I am sure that even if Boss goes bankrupt some redundancy will be available from Government. I am sure other posters will advise here and ACAS definetely will.0

dh has spoken in length with acas and cab and basically advised to hang tight as its obvious that boss is trying to make him leave before he has to push him .....nothing has been put in writing,no witnesses etc so its his word against his...so we have to decide whether to carry on as he is currently in a battle of wills waiting for boss to serve him proper notice or dh to take other job(has been given now til fri to decide)...boss should be giving him 12 weeks notice and around £4000Stepchange dmp £6350

basically my dh went to an outpatients appt and was told he needs an op asap on his right arm which he will need at least 6 weeks off to recover then a couple of months after this he will need further op on left arm for which he will probably need more than 6 weeks off....so he cant go self employed or take job offer so on discussion with boss he is staying put as he can claim ssp this way so boss doesnt have to pay him anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know how confusing and rambley am i!
