I know. I have a feeling that she doesn't know what she's getting into at all, given the fact that her last feedback is from September of last year and she only has 75.

With any luck, she'll heed my warning and drop the drop shipping company like a hot brick.

I hope so, I don't like to see people caught up in thse things unless they completely understand what they are doing.

There was a thread on the community boards a while back, a very experienced seller who bought in bulk (so not technically drop shipping) but had to wait for a while between payment and arrival of goods. The supplier who had been fine for a couple of years went bust overnight, the day after receiving cleared payment for £500 of goods. Obviously she was upset but wa s more upset as she has built up a relationship withthis supplier and yet he had happily taken payment one day knowing he was going to officially give up the next day with debts.

Yikes! I'm not surprised she was upset.

I've just been reading through this thread and I too was almost duped by

"Saver Limited, t/a saver-express. Their address listed as : 147 Chase side , Enfield, Middlesex, EN2 OPN and tel : 08713152576 email : tina@saver-express.com or info@saver-express.com "

I was acting as a seller for the above. Basically I would list the items through my paypal account and receive 10% of the sale.

However, after I had sold 6 items which totalled £300 I became suspicious of the above company. The lady "Tina" whom I dealt with was hardly ever available to answer the phone, she did not respond to my e-mails and there was no way that I was going to forward the £300 on to her without knowing for certain that the buyers had received their goods.

So I removed the listing and refunded all payments to the buyers. This ended up with me out of pocket by about £35 due to fees. But after reading this it appears that I had a lucky escape.

Unfortuantely with so much done over the internet these days sometimes people can be fooled... and I stupidly was one of them.

:(

Thanks for posting, zoold. I'm sorry you were nearly scammed by these awful people. Well done for making sure they didn't get their thieving hands on your money. As you say, £35 out of pocket isn't nearly as bad as it could have been if you hadn't wised up to them in time.

They're still up to their old tricks, too, unfortunately.

Well done, happy to hear you got your money back.
• Hi,

ive just come across this thread and have only read the first 2 pages at present so im not sure if the problem has been resolved but.. THE EXACT SAME THING happened to me except i was the seller. This is a genuine scam! I was employed by "saver express" to sell BT motorbike blue-tooth headsets on their behalf for a 10% profit. I transferred all the money across to them for them to then end contact with me. Ebay and paypal are now demanding X amount of money back which i just dont have. Im from sheffield so have contacted the South Yorkshire police and I am going through the motions of this been a claim. This thread will hopefully help prove that im not the scammer but also a victim of the scam.

I wonder how many more people they've scammed, Jessica? I really hope that the Police can find these awful people and shut them down. Sorry to hear that you fell victim to them, too.

I've sent you a PM with some more info.

You're welcome, Jessica. Please let us know the outcome. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for everyone, both buyers and sellers, who has been conned by saver-express.

As I have always said if it sounds to good to be true it probably is.
Getting paid for very little work just copy and pasting a few listings and sending a few payments off is to good to be true.
As a business seller with a good account on ebay I have had quite a few of these get money for nothing emails.
This is my reply below you can copy and paste it if you wish:

I will join your scheme with a few conditions of my own that before I send you any money at all from my paypal account I can confirm with my buyers that they have recieved their items from you first.
I will then and only then send you payment for the items after I have the confirmation email from the buyer that they have the item and they are very happy with it positive feedback will not be enough I must have the confirmation email or you will recieve no payment from me.
At no time will I give you any form of access to either my ebay or paypal accounts.
So just to get this straight so there can be no mistakes at no time will these conditions change during our business relationship everytime I sell something on your behalf I will only send you payments after you have delivered the items to the buyers and I know the buyers are happy with the service you have provided and you will never be given access to any of my accounts.
If you cannot agree to these conditions do not bother to reply to this email as my answer will be NO I cannot work with you.

At this point in time I have never recieved a reply from any of these companies.
