Yes i have used the wii to lose weight and tone up
"I am an insomniac, so I was really excited when I was able to get a full night's sleep. I said to a friend, 'Just keep your fingers crossed that I get lucky again tonight!' Realizing what I said, I tried to correct it and said, 'No, I mean, I just hope that I get some tonight!' After that, I decided to shut up."0 -

Has anyone had any success with losing weight with the wii fit?
All replies welcome

ive lost 14lbs and i did use the wii fit, not on its own though, i used it as PART of my training, i also do exercise DVD and weights
the boxing and step are good as is the kung fu, the hula hoop and the yoga exercises
i would never do just the wii on its own though, unless i was severely cutting calories0 -
Does anyone know if a Wii Fit 3 is coming out soon? Loving the 'Plus' but would look forward to new challenges!I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0

I've toned up really well in a few weeks, I've lost a bit of weight but not much and I am watching what I eat too, I do Yoga, Hula and Jogging which is a lot more exercise than I have ever done, the balance games are fun and dd uses it too:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I saw this on the xbox weeks ago and was a bit gutted it wasn't on the Wii... or so I thought until I saw the advert yesterday :jSo I bought it with some b'day money and have just had my first go
OMG I'm done in and to make it worse I have zero co-ordination so tripped over my own feet at least 20 times!! Thankfully I didn't have the bottle to go to an actual class with real people or I would of made a total fool of myself.
Does it get easier though? I'm not bothered about being out of breath as thats the point but it's so fast even after doing the tutorials I just can't imagine being able to control my feet EVER
Ayway I'd really recommend it lol. I just need some magic shoes like Lisa had in that episode of the Simpsons when she was rubbish at dancing :rotfl:Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
I fancy this too, how much was it and where did you get it from? You'll get better hun lol I was rubbish at the wii fit especially the co-ordination ones but it did improve, when I went to step class years ago I was so bad the woman said to me dont worry about the arms just concentrate on the feet:rotfl: - good luck and well done for doing something:DThank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I haven't got Zumba, but have got Just Dance 2. I can only do the arm movements.
My feet just go from side to side. Glad it's not a class. 0 -
I bought Zumba about six weeks ago for the wii and have used it once !
I found out that I have no co-ordination at all and found it really difficult to master even the basic steps !I'm sticking to the wii fit instead.0 -
i bought it last week too. same as everyone else - no co -ordination at all. am supossed to be going to a class at weekend -don't knoe if i dare lol, think i'l have to concentraye on feet only absolutely no chance of doing both.Frump to Fab - Solstice Sizzler

Zumba on the Wii is hard!
Like everything though it does get easier with practise.
I found doing the tutorials first (where you learn the steps individually) quite helpful when it came to doing the main sessions. Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0
