I started REAL zumba classes in January, doing it twice a week. By April i had lost 4 inches off my hips and went down 2 dress sizes..keep it up, its defo worth it xx
  • I have only tried it once too lol I was thinking maybe the actual class would be easier???? lol I prefer the just dance ones myself!:D

I fancy this too, how much was it and where did you get it from? You'll get better hun lol I was rubbish at the wii fit especially the co-ordination ones but it did improve, when I went to step class years ago I was so bad the woman said to me dont worry about the arms just concentrate on the feet:rotfl: - good luck and well done for doing something:D

I bought it from Asda and it was £23 and it comes with the belt that goes round your waist.

Well I'm aching this morning lol but I did enjoy it even though I found it quite hard. I'm half way through a 30 day challenge on EA Sports Active atm I refuse to give in so I'm going to carry on with both... probably got something to do with why I ache a bit today. The Zumba definatley got my heart rate up more and I felt like I'd really done some serious exercise. My plan is to go through the tutorials again and see if I can pick up the basics a bit better.

Shazza well done :T thats amazing and a big encouragement for me to keep at it!!

I like the sound of this. Can you just play on the wii console, or do you need a wii fit to play it on?

You just need a Wii console and thats it, you put the controller in the waist band that goes round your waist and it picks up your movements.

Brilliant. I thought perhaps I could do with my 7 year old daughter. Might be fun. :)

    Hi Everyone

I'm borrowing my mums wii and have bought the ea sports more fitness game as it was 7.50 in argos (very MSE :D)

Anyway, I've got it home and it says I need the leg band and resistance strap. I wondered if these are absolute essentials, i.e the game just wont work without them?

Also - is there anywhere I can get these things cheap? I haven't ever looked for Wii things but I have seen the odd cheap gadget in poundland/b and m etc which are compatible with Wii...any tips?

    Please?:o

got the first one on amazon which came with leg strap and resistance band - quite cheap. don't think it 'd work without this- doesn't always work that good with it tbh. i also use wii fit plus. just dance 1 and 2, and my latest addition zumba. thought i'd have a go at zumba at home before embarrasing myself in public at a class:)
